I just sent Mirrors Edge back to Gamefly and was so glad I just didn't go out and buy it like was thinking about doing when It first came out and I was reading lots of hype on it.

What games have you bought that you never should have, either because you beat them to fast or the quality was really not what you expected? Give reasons why you come up with your conclusion.

Fable II, i only played it once because in my opinion the story was the only thing in that game anywhere near approaching acceptable - Peter Molyneax should be gagged before Fable 3

Too Human - I realize now that it was severely rushed with several major bugs and unbalanced gameplay.

Avatar: The Burning Earth. Yes I know it's a kids game, but I bought it for my brother and we both completed it in a day

Little Big Planet.
Could've played it and noticed I hated the level designing stuff without the extra £35.

Fable II definatly. I beat it in a day, and I was unimpressed with the game overall. Sold it on Goozex though, so it's definatly worth something to me now.

I also bought Godfather 2, I did finish it but got bored along the way and your right it had no replay value. Ended up trading it in for a free month of gamefly, so it wasn't all bad.

Bioshock.

It was a great game, but not worth 60 bucks for 1 playthrough. I haven't played it since I finished the first playthrough. Single-player games with no replayability = BAAAADDDD.

Afro Samurai.
Samuel L Jackson's voice over is entertaining for about 15 minutes, then you shelve the game.

Tomb Raider Underworld. Played it through once and that was enough. It's great, just once you've done it, you've done it all.

Lord of the Rings: Conquest
Fun until you beat it. Then when you go to play online, either no games are found, or they are all obsessives and kick your ass.

Two Worlds, Bioshock and Burnout: Paradise. I might give Two Worlds another go to at least finish the damned game.

Far Cry 2, the game just didn't work for me and resulted in me getting bored. Usually once I have started the single player of any game I have this thing where I have to finish it. This game defied the odds and broke that rule.
