Do you have any games that you just love to play, but are total crap at? For me it would probalby any fighting game in existence. No matter how much I try, I've never been good at them. They always looked kind of cool to me though.

Bioshock and the Resistance series (excluding Retribution, where I'm not too bad). I love them (even Resistance 2, despite popular opinion) but can't play them to save my life. I've completed Bioshock once, and never get past the opening few sections when I go on it again. I'd love an interactive walking tour of Rapture, that way I can experience the world without the bloody splicers.

BlazBlue maybe. I don't exactly suck (PSR floating around 112 and I have a consistent 50-53% win rate with my mains), but I may have reached a peak in terms of skill.

Call of Duty in general. My days can fluctuate wildly, but my average K/D ratio is somewhere between .8 to 1.3 and I almost never get more than 15 kills

I'm not terrible at it but 5 seconds online made me a bit afraid of BlazBlue.
Yeah, I felt kinda bad after I beat a level 3 today (I'm level 47). I gave that person a free round, but went kinda hard on the last one. How long have you been playing?

Castlevania lords of shadow.

I love it, but it always seems to kick my arse no matter how many crazy whip moves i do.

I've probably spent more time on the game over screen than playing the game.

Also, Metal gear solid 3 snake eater.

I just can't do stealth in that game at all, and i don't have much problems doing it in the other mgs games.

It might be because their is much more open spaces in that game than the others, i dunno, but what I do know is that Snakes rumbling belly doesn't help matters either.

Third person now to say Blazblue. I love it's silly take on fighting but I can't string combos well at all- despite having it easier with a keyboard (one button combos).

That literally goes for everyone. Call of Duty is a game of luck.

Heroes of might and magic. Jesus Christ Superstar I really suck at games like that. I've only finished one campaign mode once, and t'was like 14 years ago. I love the game to death though.

It's a healthy unhealthy relationship :)

Pretty much every RTS I've ever paid any money for (in competitive gameplay anyway). I'll no doubt end up adding Blazblue myself when I actually get around to playing the damn thing, though I highly doubt I'll go anywhere near the online part. I'm not that eager to get my backside handed to me...

Pretty much any RPG.. I never seem to really get into the often-awkward combat systems they have (with perhaps the exception of fallout and mass effect?) and all the numbercrunching. Still, I have played most of the greatest RPGs (Everything from NWN, to Dragon Age and KotOR), but always on easy or normal. Anything above that will just have me dying until I get to frustrated to keep playing.

lol, same here. I love RTS games but I always get my ass kicked on them and not just competitively, sometimes the singleplayer AI's kill me easily too, depending on the game.

I also love RPGs, but I've never had the number-crunching abilities to know how to make the best character builds, so I usually end up with a mediocre mix of skills.

Try telling that to my brother and one of my friends. They average 20+ kills a game

Any Guitar Hero/Rock Band game. I can neither use my pinky finger nor can I tap the buttons at fast parts, so I fail a lot. Sure I can somewhat sing and play bass well in these games, but both are embarrassing in front of people and online.

Like the OP, every fighting game, apart from Soul Calibur, I'm okay at that one. I don't get stressed when I get my ass beaten to me because I don't really try anyway or give a fuck if I lose, only if I win. You'll know you're fighting me when I randomly do a decent combo and scream down the mic "what the fuck did I do? WHAT THE FUCK". It doesn't happen very often. It's like playing Minesweeper, there's a chance of me winning, but it's not down to skill, it's down to complete luck.

most turn based RPGs I suck at. yet, I love the Shin Megami Tensei series, as well as the better SNES RPGs (Earthbound especially, most emotional game ever IMO.)
