Everyone has a game (or games) that they love, but no one else seems to get it. What are some some of your favourite games, that you get a lot of grief from other people over?

Pokemon Snap... haha

Hey, I liked Pokemon Snap. You are not alone.

Anyway.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only one to actually enjoy The Movies for PC. It might be a machinima creator for five year olds but with my extremely low technological proficiency in the field of machinimas the game was like magic to me.

Here on these forums? Halo.

In real life I've always had a thing for Splinter Cell that my friends don't understand. I maintain that they simply suck at it.

Assassin's Creed and Halo are on the list, yes. I also say Rainbow 6: Vegas and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. They're nice tactical shooters, just the genre I like.

Hmm. Don't you find it a little dull. Stealthing I can get behind but it's not even skillful most of the way through. Just waiting for people to walk with their backs to you in the dark so you can grab them by the neck, make them talk the same line each time then twat them over the head and chuck them in a closet.
The most fun I had on it was chucking a guy of a building.

To everyone saying Halo, you know it was one of the most popular games of all time don't you? And Assassins Creed was top of the chart here for an age.

On topic, Enchanted Arms maybe? Everyone said it was really dull, but to me it was just a straight up RPG. No pissing around, no grind quests, just some characters, a story, a world and that's it. Just a good, simple RPG.

Yeah, but these forums are populated by Halo haters. Its on my list as well, along with sonic 3d blast, I enjoyed it, though the graphics forced me to stop for about 5 min after each stage, and that garfield game for the genesis, people always seem to whine about not being able to get past the second level or something, but It seemed to be one of the easiest games I had for my genesis, and one of the few, along with cool spot, that I finished without cheating.

Well, it's a bit broken don't you think? Some characters just can't while others are unbeatable. Felicia and Morrigan come to mind.

Deus Ex: Invisible War. Yes, I liked the first one better, but IW was still a good game. I think that many people are unhappy that it's associated with the first game, but there's almost no chance that any sequel the devs created would be as good as the original, so people were sort of setting themselves up for a disappointment.
Yep...

Street Fighter EX 3. Almost everyone I know immediately dismisses it, because "Street Fighter games suck in 3D, everybody knows that." I know they've never played EX3, because if they had, they'd be changing their tune in a hurry...

Ok, now we've got too many duplicate and spinoff threads these days. I'm gonna blame "badges" just because I can.

You are not alone.
I second that. Bounty Hunter was one of my favorite games on the Gamecube. I wish they would make a game somewhat similar to it for Boba Fett on the Xbox 360. They could use the story lines in the novels that have been written about Boba Fett such as "The Mandalorian Armor" and "Tales From the Cantina" and forget about tying the game to the movies. Boba Fett is one of the best characters in Star Wars even though he only got a few cameos in the movies.
