topic explains it all,

name a game you tried to like but got to fustrated or something and ended up hating it.

mine: fable 2, loved the original and tried to liked the second, but was too fustrated by the length of the game and irritated by the easy difficulty.

(apoligies for bad spelling, bad grammer, and if thread has been done before)

Team Fortress 2.

I just can't stand it. It's like everybody who didn't belong in an online FPS to begin with got together in one game to trade hats.

HATS.

Okami, yes it is a very good game and since everyone kept telling me how awesome it was I really wanted to like it, but I just didn't find it all that interesting. Sorry Capcom.

I gave CoD4 and MW2 a fair run, I tried all the game modes, beat the story, killed peole online, and I hate both of them. I went into CoD 4, foolishly, believing review over my opions and got a nice big kick to the teeth, and that was the 1st time Call of Duty had a chance to make me love it, it did not.

Mass Effect.. blah. Boring, confusing and just plain meh. Plus it's awkward control didn't help. Apparently the story is good but until they release a movie I'll never know.

I don't ever hate games. Except games people take too seriously. But even then I will play them and generally like them.

Take that contradiction.

Only game I have tried to like, and ended up really not liking is Gears of War.

I don't "hate" games, just don't like them that much.

I was borrowing my friends copy of halo 3, put it in, started the game, played maybe 1-2 hours, ejected the disc and gave it back the next day, was boring =/

Gears of War 2, Final Fantasy II, and Fallout 3. They were all boring games from the minute I picked the controller up to the time I put it down.

There are much more games that I tried to enjoy but just didn't happen to like it, but those are the games I have a strong distaste for.

Fallout 3. I originally bought the GOTY version for the 360, and played it for about 15 hours. I put it down and sold it soon after.

Later on I got it on a Steam sale, and after managing to play through it once, I didn't like it at all. Even with a ton of mods, the game still didn't feel fun.

Guitar Hero series. I bought 2 when it came out cuz I thought: "Hey, the first was apparently great. It's not like they'll release any more." A couple years later I caved in and bought the 5th on my PS3.
Tried them, didn't care for them at all.

Bioshock. Ahh, your stupid combat and back-and-forth questing...

So I just watched the ending of the game on Youtube and was done with it.

Fallout 3. I tried it, but soon realised that the game was literally doing everything in it's power to make me quit.

I don't "hate" any game. If I had to put something on this list though... it would be the Call of Duty games.

Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Oblivion.

Really didn't understand the leveling system in Oblivion, read loads of guides and builds, re-rolled my character about 4 times, found out I was still leveling up too quickly for my own good, gave up.

The trick, I think, is to play the game itself.
I tried to like Fallout 3, Oblivion, Neverwinter Nights 2, ARMA 2, and all MMOs.
