Games you want to finish (but probably never will)

The title sums it up, really. Has the ever been a game that you liked but you couldn't and likely will never finish, do to whatever circumstances?

Fallout 2 for me. I got to a certain point where I just kept getting my ass kicked. I tried looking for more side-quests to level up with but couldn't find anything, I gave all three of my companions the best equipment I could get my hands on but they still always died, and there really aren't enough random encounters to grind effectively. I tried playing on the lowest difficulty, but even then... dead, dead, dead. I tried starting a new character, but at that point the fun well had dried up.

I love the game, it's just so dam unforgiving and combat is a tad bland at times.

I see where you're coming from, I still haven't finished fallout 1 because I swear I've done every goddamn sidequest there is and I'm still like Lv 10 there just doesn't seem to be enough enemies, lockpicking or quests to boost the necessary Xp. Also, I was unaware that 4 Strength leaves you with such a skeletal frame that you collapse under the weight of a desert eagle (WTF?) so I started over with a more strength oriented character that will hopefully make things easier.

Pokeman Pearl. I made it all the way to the elite four but I really just want to work on Black. It's uncertain if i'll get around to grinding a bit more just to beat those guys.

Xenosaga, love the game, hate the freaking grinding through the enemies repeatedly every time, or alternatively gathering up all the necessary money so that your robots that can't heal midbattle can kick the crap out of them instead.

Got stuck at the part where you're searching a warehouse near a harbor for... some reason. I lost interest after being shot to death the fortieth fucking time.

For me its Assassins Creed Brotherhood. I just can't invest the time into it. Work and MVC3 are taking away all my gaming hours lol.

Resident Evil 5. I just didn't like it much, it was a huge step back from 4 and I think the reliance on co-op really ruined it. The controls feel crap and it just doesn't feel right. I really would've preffered the single player campaign to not have the partner, it would've been better without that element. I want to finish it because I feel I should, I'm planning on giving it another go sometime.

Valkyria Chronicles. This game is really good... But it's too fucking hard, there's a point when I just can't do it and hit a wall.

Wild Arms 3 and Zone of the Enders. I just stopped at one point in the games and I wasn't interested enough to finish playing on through.

I will most likely never finish Record of Agarest War due to other games taking up my time. it looks like that might happen with Atelier Rorona and Rogue Galaxy as well.

Final Fantasy VI. I'm all the way up to the final encounter, (Kefka's Tower was insane!) and I can't seem to succeed no matter what I do! Leveled out properly, stocked up on plenty of good, worthwhile items, and have recruited every last member to my party. But even then that sadistic clown still manages to get the better of me!

Ahh well, it was a fun ride while it lasted, at least! Pity I'll probably never get to see the lengthy conclusion though. Tempting as youtube may be.
