Are there any unmade games you constantly wish for, only to get pulled out of your dream world and realize the harsh bitter truth that they will most likely never ever get made? I've got a few, obviously. Why else would I make this topic? =P
-Viewtiful Joe 3 Shame to see such an awesome series only stick around for about two years before dying away. At least Joe was recently used in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, and he better god-damn be in Marvel vs Capcom 3. Speaking of which...
-Marvel vs. DC Preferably developed by Capcom, but it doesn't matter because I know it will never happen outside of fan-made MUGEN mods. (If you don't know MUGEN, Google it) But god damn, this game would be every comic nerd's wet dream.
-Banjo-Threeie Come on Rare, what the hell is this? Imagine if Nintendo stopped making Mario games after Mario 64. For the next several years, the franchise is pretty much dead outside of a couple handheld games. Then finally, eight years after Nintendo's initial promise of a sequel we FINALLY get...Mario Kart. That's almost exactly what happened with Banjo-Kazooie. Not to say Nuts' n Bolts is a bad game, but that's really not what you should give your fans who have waited years to see a true console sequel to the original games.
-A PS3 Harvest Moon I'm surprised that I didn't think of this until rather recently. For those of you who don't play this series, (Which would be most of you) let me fill you in. While the game's developers Natsume have mainly focused on Nintendo systems for this series, there has always been at least one exclusive game for each Playstation system. All of them...except PS3. Now I know what they're probably thinking. Harvest Moon has always been a bit of a niche series that has a dedicated cult following compiled of both hardcore gamers and casual players alike. On top of that, the series is and has always been very family-friendly, so it's really no surprise that they've been mainly sticking with the Wii and DS lately. But as much as I love Harvest Moon, I have to admit that I don't see much difference between the recent games and the ones made ten years ago. The series could really use some fresh ideas and a bit of innovation, and what better way to do so then to use the extra hardware on the PS3? They could give us a bigger world filled with more people and things to do, for starters. Though really, I guess the main thing they should focus on is innovation, which could be done on any system. But I love the idea of innovation mixed with bigger technical aspects then what you would get on Wii.
-A good Iron Man game Come on , yet another bad movie game? How hard could it possibly be to make a good game based off a guy who flies around and shoots things?
-A good Superman game The Superman Returns game was terrible, but it did have some good ideas. Like flying around in a sandbox environment and giving the city a health bar instead of Supes. They should take these core ideas, and actually TRY to make something good with it.
-Elite Beat Agents 2 Not much to say with this one. Just please iNiS, please give us non-Japanese some more awesomeness. We all beg you. Though could you try to pick some better songs this time? Though hell, even if you don't we'll still love you.
