Title should say all. What games are coming out in the near future are you looking forward to and why? For me it's-

BloodBorne: From Software with Miyazaki back at the helm. ALL OF MY YES!

Persona 5: I've slowly been becoming a massive fan of SMT over the years, and I'm very much looking forward to the next numbered installment in the series that got me into it all.

Unnanounced Metroid Games: Nintendo mentioned awhile back that it has some unannounced Metroid games in the works. A classic 2D Metroid and a 3D Metroid Prime styled game. Both sound great. Anything to help get the taste of Other M out of my mouth. Nintendo. SAY SOMETHING ABOUT THEM!

http://kotaku.com/nintendo-is-planning-a-future-for-both-2d-and-3d-metroi-1590142491

Hotline Miami 2: It looks like it's twice as fucked up as the first one. Fucked up in all the right ways. I just wish it would COME OUT ALREADY!

SMT x Fire Emblem. I am pissed that it's on the Wii U, a system I have very little interest in getting, but dear god do I still want this game to be a thing.

Civilization Beyond Earth: Technically out for most people, but I gotta wait till Christmas for the mac port. So looking forward to that.

Well, what about you?

I've got like five games I plan on buying in mid-November, which seems to cancel out my excitement about any particular one.

Probably the most excited to see LittleBigPlanet 3, just because it's the least mined of the sequels on offer. Not sure exactly how it'll play out, but I'm sure it'll be thoroughly charming.

Far Cry 4 is the other game I've already got pre-ordered. If it's just more FC3, it'll be good enough, but I'm hoping they step up their game story-wise. The weakest link of FC3 was the relatively uninvolving story. If they can improve on that, this could be my favorite game of the year.

The two Assassin's Creed games... the AC tend to be a bit all over the map in terms of improvements. The series saw steady improvements through Brotherhood, then it added a whole bunch of bits that did nothing to improve the game, then they came back strong with AC IV. So a mixed reputation which lowers expectations considerably.

And then there's Lego Batman 3. I love the Lego games, but they figured out their core gameplay with their first outing and have just been attempting to refine it ever since to decidedly mixed results. Usually a Lego game would be at the top of my To Buy pile, but this one has gotten crowded out.

Cuphead- I like its style and hope if it is somewhat successful, that more games take inspiration from different television ans movie aesthetics.

Anything Telltale related- because obvious reasons.

KH3- Only reason I'm even considering saving up for a next gen console. Well, maybe FFXV if that's good too, otherwise, not seeing why I'd need one of those machines and a TV capable of using it for their full potentials.

Mortal Kombat X- I'm interested in seeing how the story is actually. Don't much care for the aesthetic though.

Mother 4- If something doesn't get messed up, I will hopefully get to download it without fearing Nintendo's wrath. Haven't played a Mother game, but seeing full LPs of it give the impression that it is definitely worthwhile.

I suppose I have a few kickstarted games both currently getting funded and close to completion that I'd like to see, but it take some time for me to find a good amount of them and I'm only kind of moderately interested in most of them too.

Walking Dead Season 3, eh... everything Telltale's making to be honest, Tales from Borderlands, Game of Thrones, hopefully Wolf Among Us Season 2 and that unannounced propperty they haven't revealed yet.

To be honest I'm not paying attention to much so I'm not expecting many games, right now I'm just in the mood for those Telltale style kind off games, there aren't many that I'm aware of.

FFXV and MGS: Phantom pain both look good to me. I'm interested in BloodBorne and Halo 5 too. They're the main reason I can't decide on which console to get.

If you own a PS4 or Vita you should check out Axiom Verge
Looks like something that might scratch the 2D metroid itch while I wait and hope for a new Metroid.

OT:
Dragon Age Inquisition looks like the best parts of DA:O and DA2 mixed together
Farcry 4 is more of the same, but Farcry 3 was so good that I'm OK with that.
Witcher 3. I don't even need to explain that one.
BloodBorn, because more Dark Souls is nice
MGS5 because it looks like the best Metal Gear game by far and seems to be taking some lessons from the excellent MGS: Peace Walker.

Lets see...

Persona 5
Kingdom Hearts 3
Mortal Kombat X
World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor

...and Five Nights at Freddy's 2. Not to play it myself, but to watch others play it on Youtube.

Oh, oh, I almost forgot about I am Bread. That looks fun.

Mmm, new Metroid games you say? Yes please. Proper Metroid, mind; so classic 2D or Prime-style thanks.

Other than that, I'm looking forward Hotline Miami 2 (also) and Kickstarter-y things: Pillars of Eternity, Torment: Tides of Numenera and Satellite Reign.

Aside from above-noted Metroid, I think there's pretty much nothing coming along in the AAA landscape that's interesting me right now. Far Cry 4 should be there by all rights, but eh. Just looks like 3 reskinned.

I have so little idea about what that game is going to be like, but I am so excited about it.

Yes, I'm looking forward to Witcher 3 as a game in itself, but also as a stepping stone towards Cyberpunk.

Lets see, what else?

Mount and Blade 2.

Kingdom come.

Elite dangerous.

No mans Sky.

Tomorrow I'll play Bayonetta 2, excited about that :D

In a month SmashBros WiiU is released, that new video got me really excited!

Then releases I know about for next year are Zelda WiiU and Splat00n which I am looking forward to.

These 4 are of the top of my head :)

There is a few games on my radar at the moment, the usual stuff i tend to look for, some sequels to titles i already own and so on, but for me personaly the stand out one has got to be stonehearth, its an in development indie sandbox citybuilder with light rts and rpg mechanics. The game is voxel based i believe, but has a very charming aesthetic and a huge amount of potential, plus the devs are building it from the ground up with mod-support in mind which is a nice bonus.

Link to the dev's blog site if anyone's interested.

http://stonehearth.net/

Additional note, the dev's themselves seem to keep a regular update report on the progress made that week and have been pretty open about the development process which i personaly find quite interesting.

I'm so hyped for a new Metroid game. Can you imagine how good a prime style layout using the Wii-U pad to scan things or switch weapons could be?

Other than that I'm also looking forward to the 2D one. I just recently played through Metroid Fusion and it made me realise how long it's been since we've had a proper Metroid game like that.
