With all these "most anticipated games" list or "I can't wait to play this" comments, I just want to know, What games aren't you looking foward to; upcoming games that didn't really catch your interest or just not interested in. I've got a few:

Destiny: Was looking foward to, then I tried the Alpha. It's by no means bad and I had fun with it, I'm just not that much of an online person

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel: I'm not a huge Borderlands fan, but I still had fun with the series. This one just looks like DLC of Borderlands 2

Hyrule Warriors: I really could care less about Dynasty Warriors and never had fun with the series, so why should I care now.

I joké.

Destiny - clusterfuck x players shooter.
Borderlands - clusterfuck 4 players shooter.
GTA 5 - stuck with 3 fucking morons.
Hyrule Warriors - maybe, but no hopes up, and certainly not at $60.

The next Call of Duty. Sure they can have it, but why does it have to be an annual release? And at quite a hefty premium at that. Who shells out ?60 yearly for the privilege of playing the same game with slightly improved graphics, and all new bugs? And what is up with the prices of these games? Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, ?60. The game was released in 2012. And Modern Warfare 3. The game was released in 2011, yet the price tag is ?40? Are people really still buying that? I know some say that MW3 was the last good CoD, but that still doesn't explain the price tag.

Anyway, got a bit off topic there. I can't really think of anything else, CoD bugs me because it's part of a HUGE hype-machine, and news about a new release, that should come as no f*cking surprise to anyone, is hauled up and speculations about what the story might be starts circulating. Why? It's a first person military shooter (A.K.A Spunkgargleweewee), you shoot at stuff and it dies.

Captcha: Got my mojo. Damn right I do.

I always feel like some hipster or something when I say this. Destiny. The game just looks like Borderlands the MMO. I never was a big Bungie fan, so that makes a lot of hype go bye bye. The game just doesn't interest me.

Why do these threads exist? Its like a circle jerk of negativity with little to no discussion value. I swear these forums are just a couple steps away from being depressing.

Don't feel bad. I, and I'm guessing a lot of other people, feel the same way. Apart from who is making it (and I've never been a huge Halo fan anyway), I haven't really seen a lot of reasons why I should care about this. At least Titanfall had some kind of unique selling point (giant mechs) were you could understand why it might be exciting.

The problem with annualizing something is that it quickly becomes "business as usual". I only tend to buy CoD once the price has dropped considerably, and as such I haven't played Blops 2 or Ghosts yet (I'm not in much of a hurry to either) so why should I get excited about the next one.

Agreed. I've never really played Dynasty Warriors, always meant to, never quite got around to it. Not sure why having a Zelda skin is going to instantly make it better, if you wanted to shake things up and move away from the Three Kingdoms stuff surely there are a whole bunch of better fantasy franchises to base it off? Zelda, while great games, has always been incredibly twee and I'm not sure keeping the twee and removing the gameplay is the right direction.

For myself:

Quantum Break: Seems like people are talking about how great this game is going to be and Remedy are a good studio, but somehow I still have only the vaguest notion of what the game actually is, and thus have no idea of whether I should be excited or not.

Huh well this is kinda weird surely if its not on my looking forward to list then its a game im not looking forward to or did you mean games that I am specifically loathing the arrival of?

Well I dont think there are any games I am not looking forward to so much I dont want them to come out (although there are games I wish never existed like Soul Calibur Lost Swords) I just ignore them but lets see games im not looking forward to as in not interested in any way would be to many to mention so I will just say any game thats not Persona 4 ultimax, Persona 5, Under Night in Birth, Dengeki Bunko Climax, Ultra Street Fighter 4 (disc version), Guilty Gear Xrd, Bayonetta 2 and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 would most likely be on the not looking forward to list either because I am unaware of it or because it does not interest me.

Well, I'm not truly looking forward to anything, really. Not in the way of AAA games anyway. Partly because I don't pay upcoming releases that much attention anymore. Partly because I now mostly focus on older games and on portable games and indies, both of which I usually only find out about close to release.

I like it this way. Not knowing way in advance makes stumbling upon a cool new game seem that much more like a discovery.

It would be easier to list the games that i am looking forward to.. I guess i'll just list the popular ones.

Call of duty - well because it got dull after modern warfare and i'm not interested in it's multiplayer.

Battlefield - Same as COD, except that it's campaigns are far worse.

Sims 4 - the only thing that i liked about those games is building a house.

Assasin's creed: Unity - depends on how that co-op fuckery works and still i'll probably skip it, i bought the last one only because i was interested in the pirate theme and now that's gone.

GTA V - i'll get it, but if the PC version didn't ever come out i wouldn't be saddened by it, kinda lost interest after all the hype went away.

Destiny. Jesus Christ they've been marketing the thing out the wazoo basically since development started. I feel like I've known about this game for eternity, and it turns out they only just did the beta! I can't wait until it's out just so I can stop hearing about it.

Destiny. A Bungie shooter? Awesome. Oh, it's basically an MMO. Bored, now.

CoD: Advanced Warfare. Singleplayer looks boring and uninspired. Multiplayer hasn't been revealed. Is it too much to ask that Black Ops II won't be the final great game in this series? Please?

I would say AC: Unity but everyone hates on it.

GTA V Current Gen/PC port: Eh, it won't make GTA V any better written (or written well at all).

"A few steps away"? Hell, it's gone way beyond that.

I've been here since 2007. I can tell you that this forum has gone so far into the "depressingly cynical" zone that it's come full circle into the "almost a satirical parody of online social communities" zone. At least three times.

After a while you just learn to roll with it. Things get better.....eventually. Then they get worse again. Then better. Then worse.

It's a vicious cycle.

Anyway, on topic:
Um...a lot of them? What the hells the point of listing the games we're not looking forward to? Would not this list be incredibly long? And besides, what's the point of dwelling on the things that don't interest us?

I don't know. This just seems like an odd, inherently cynical topic.

But, in the interest of adding to the discussion...

Destiny.

I had hoped that Bungie would branch out and try making a game that wasn't so derivative of Halo. Sadly, Destiny just isn't that game. And the beta left a lot to be desired[footnote]Doesn't help that they abandoned the idea of a PC build, all while pretending to placate and side with the PC community with some rather condescending explanations as to why.[/footnote] (and inspired).

Oh well.

Dragon Age Inquisition.
Because I know it's going to get good reviews (Because EA) and since I absolutely loved Origins and was fine with 2, a couple good reviews might convince me to actually play it and I know I'll be disappointed (Because EA)

But I'm going to do my best to buy it used (Because EA)
and if worse comes to worse I'll just pretend it's work and review it... but ultimately I'm dreading it, because my heart can't take being let down again. (Because EA)

Oh, I guess also Destiny.
I used to be hype for it. but the more I've seen from the Alpha and Beta it just looks boring and dull and bland and shitty (Because Next Gen)
It looks like instead of taking the best parts of Borderlands and the best parts of Halo and making an awesome game. it looks like they took the worst parts of Borderlands and the worst parts of Halo to make a bad game that's going to sell well because it sounds like a cross between Borderlands and Halo.

Not disputing your claim but I have hardly seen anything of it I mean I know of it but havent seen much on it then again I hardly saw anything on GTAV either guess im just good at blanking stuff I have no interest in also I dont watch TV read many magazines, go to many games sites or look at billboards. Where is it primarily advertised though just out of interest.

I tend not like being advertised to so try and minimise it personally (quite successfully) im just not a business kind of person.

Assassin's Creed: Unity: No, this isn't about the whole gender debate that erupted around the game. I just have never been really invested in the series' gameplay, considering the platforming's engagement is only slightly greater than holding down the play button on a twenty hour movie, and its combat was probably even less engaging. All that the first game had going for it was the story, and AC2 fucked that up so bad I can't even remain invested in the story.

After that, there's nothing that I have absolutely no interest in. Actually, it sort of has my interest from the whole French Revolution setting, but if Black Flag couldn't bring me back with the pirate setting, nothing in the series can.

I'm gonna jump on the Call of Duty bandwagon.

I don't think I've truly enjoyed a Call of Duty title since MW2. Maybe Black Ops, since I liked the single player (in part because Ed Harris, CCR, and the Rolling Stones are awesome)... but the single player is short, and I've never liked Treyarch's multiplayer. MW3 was... alright, I guess? Nothing special, just kinda more of the same.

Then the twin clusterfucks known as Black Ops 2 and Ghosts came out. Yeah... I think I'm done with the franchise, at least for a while. I can still play the older ones if I want, since they pretty much all still have somewhat of a playerbase. And I won't have to deal with bullshit SciFi James Bond gadgets beyond the heartbeat sensors, which no one ever uses.

I haven't really found much that's that eye catching so far, anything that does look cool has the old "exclusive to overpriced new console" tag on it and I stopped getting hyped on trailers after BRINK come out way back. Bloodborne is PS4 only? Really? After both Dark Souls got PC releases this happens?

Honestly it really does feel like all the good stuff is being held hostage on the new consoles that I don't care about. That and i'm playing either free to play stuff or working through a number of random Visual Novels.

The titles that don't interest me or otherwise aren't on my radar... what the hell kind of question is this?

The crew. It's NFS Most Wanted 2012 which I already have, but with a bigger map. That's it. I watched some beta footage recently and it turns out that even the cop dialogue isn't as varied as I thought it would be. Oh well.
