Games you've been meaning to beat

Okay, so tell me, what are some of the games you've wanted to finish for days, weeks, months, or even years, but never got around to it? Games that when you think about them, you go, "Augh, do I HAVE to?" and then you answer yourself with, "no, but i prolly should...". Some games for me are:

Megaman--4, 5, 7, 8, and 9
Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World
Final Fantasy--X, XII, III, Tactics Advance: Grimoire of the Rift

And well, there are many others that I can't quite think of at the moment...
OH! and Super Mario Bros. 3 (without warp flutes)

Paper Mario, Thousand year door!
I've had that game ages, its superb!, but I've not completed it yet, I've recently got the pirate ship with the treasure, rah!.

I recommend all to try it, its very funny.

I still haven't beaten a single FF game, despite playing them all.

There are so many...

Dawn of War: Winter Assault, Age of Empires II, HL2: Ep. 1 & 2, Chrono Trigger, Star Ocean 2, Crysis, Bioshock, Planescape: Torment...I could go on. I rarely ever finish a game, usually I get near the end and get tired of it then move on or switch to multiplayer.

Since when was the reward for beating something a game over? Oh right, life doesn't work like that. Maybe someone should go upstairs and have a nice chat with the Great Programmer. It's high time He got off His ass and made us a new game.

I usually start a game, play it for a bit then quit. I just don't fell compelled to complete it. Mostly when I play a game, the thing that makes me complete it is usually the story. If it's done nicely, I always want to do another "mission" or level just to hear more of what happened. But that's just me.

The game I've been meaning to complete for a while was Syd Meyers Pirates!. I it's a very good game, incredible actually(Well it's mostly a combination of mini games, but it's done so nicely). Even if I got it for about half an year I still haven't completed it.

Same here. Except the problem for me is that Eternal Sonata is in the mail :-(. The other game for me is Super Metroid. Had that game since I was six. Have never beaten it. Oh I also should probably get back to beat Resistance 2...but I really don't want too. It doesn't interest me.

C&C 3, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Overlord on hard, Phantasy Star Universe, SONIC THE HEDGEHOG. I dont like the last two, but I own them, and I am well...an achievement whore. The first 2 I just never beat. Overlord I beat but then I tried beating it on hard or whatever after the DLC came out but I only got as far as the Halfling homes. I have more games I would like to beat but those are alot of non-360 games, and it is hard to pull away from it to go back.

Gears of War 2 (^^ just like CoD5 i just have no desire to finish the main story, repeatedly playing Horde is the way to go)
Fable 2 (^^ again)
Fallout 3, I have finished it, but while playing the game I avoid finishing it because once you do its over (le sigh)
