The American Psychological Association is contemplating adding internet addivtion to the new addition of the Diagnostic and Statistic Manual of Mental Disorders, so thats just the way these things go. Someone finds out how to exploit that center of the brain that gets addicted and they go crazy.

The fact is that many people love their progress treadmills. They will defend them harder than smokers defend their right to smoke cigarettes. Who can really say if they are any better or worse than doing anything else without ugly moralizing.
