Gaming FML: when has a game caused you to lose it?

Share moments in your gaming history when a game has pissed you off, or something happened that seemed like the world is conspiring against you.

Before my WoW subscription ended, I was working on a DK who is 79. I was 6 bars from 80 and 2 day's left in my subscription. and got DC'd every 30 seconds. I couldn't hit 80. FML

playing battleforge im not good at rts im worse at battleforge and rts you seem to take forever to have the match end after you know you lost and every second is agonizingly painful.

my girlfriend spoke to me just when I was about to Uber a Soldier.. I got distracted, lost track of the soldier, and was killed before I could use the Uber FML

^not meaning to offend, but you sound kinda old...
I love screaming "You sneaky f***ing c***!" to the person sitting next to me. I've grown up playing video games with my two competitive brothers, and as such i'm more competitive in the virtual world then anywhere else (sports come close, rarely though) within 10 minutes i could be playing COD6 and be really pissed off at a camper, or a tuber, it's not a aggression problem, I've been in fights where I don't try to harm the other person at all.

UT2004, ctf-1on1-joust. On the SP campaign (required to complete to unlock a couple of player models), I had to fight a bot on what seemed like the Godlike setting in a map that is nothing more than a narrow corridor, where the only weapons are a lightning gun (useless due to bot jumping around like he was on crack) and a rocket launcher, the blast from which encompasses the entire width of the corridor. And I had to capture the fucking flag 3 times.

That and Alma in Ninja Gaiden are some of the few things that can make me lose my rag whilst gaming

Snipers. Snipers. Snipers. SNIPERS!
Nothing in a game annoys me more than a Sniper, doesn't matter if they're good or bad they just irritate me to the point of rage quitting. It's just the idea of not being able to fight back except going Sniper to counter them (Which I cannot do due to lack of sniping skill). So, all I can do is respawn over.. And over... And over...
This is especially annoying in TF2.

Crashing a car in Burnout: Paradise before the finish line caused me to scream "Ffffffuuuu-" whilst the camera tries to convey the incident as awesome with slow motion and special effects.

It is NOT awesome, camera. Not awesome at all.

Then I would advise you to not play BFBC2 multiplayer.

I occasionally get annoyed by people who blatantly ignore mission objectives, the best example being on rush maps in the aforementioned BFBC2. Specifically when the objective is to defend the M-Com stations, and 3/4 of your team are up camping the attacking teams spawn.

Because when someone eventually makes it through and manages to plant the bomb, I love being the only player in any position to disarm it. Except that I'm dead. Which is why they were able to plant the bomb. /rant

Probably King Doran in Demon's souls. I had whittled his health down to virtually nothing, he had about 2? Maybe 3 hits left before he toppled over and died, letting me ransack his body for his armour and get behind him so I could pick up my souls (currency) which he was blocking access to.

It's like he knew how much I wanted to kill him, he swung at me, I blocked his first attack only for him to pull some move out his arse I'd never seen him use before, he recovered from the deflected attacking and turned it into a swing, 1-hit killing me causing me to lose the most souls I had ever accumulated, I just sat there staring at the screen.

Eventually killed the old bastard, now I just wear his armour always as a trophy, regardless of looks/stats.

Anytime on a Pokemon game where I've blacked out because a pokemon 'hit itself in confusion' and died. FML.

Beat the 'final' boss and it's all roses after the hellish torment and about 1/10 of your final life bar left....then a drop of blood falls into the volcano and awakes a dragon FML

Or there's always the classic overwriting your save by accident!
