What Game has the best soundtrack, period?

Personally, PoP:WW. I love Godsmack, and all of the music is composed, preformed and recorded by Godsmack. The Soundtrack album that i got is actually better than some of their other stuff!
But thats just me. i wanna know awsome tracks which i can add to my collection... So yeah, disscuss/PREACH MOTHERF**KERS!!!

i liked the first doom soundtrack, and some of the unused music was amazing such as alice in chains, i'm sure you've heard of them since everything godsmack have is stolen from alice in chains, such as the name of the band, logo, riffs and lyrics

lol seriously? ive never checked out Alice In Chains... umm, i will have to give you my verdict about how true your statement is later on... would be a shame tbh...

I would say Oblivion/Morrowind, Goldensun: The Lost Age (GBA), and the Zelda series. Banjo and Kazooie's music wasn't spectacular, but the integration of the music into the game was very creative.

FF6 and Chrono Trigger, they are the most complete sound tracks of any game I have ever played. Crisis Core gets honorable mention as well for tracks like SOLDIER battle and Worlds Enemy.

I always seem to enjoy Sonic the Hedgehog soundtracks. Sonic Adventure 2 had some good songs on it like Live & Learn, Won't Stop, Just Go, and a few others that escape me at the time. As far as I know for the Adventure games most if not all the songs are performed by Crush 40.
