Recently in the past couple of years i have been playing alot of wargames-last night i had a war nightmare-it was so realistic i had to check to make sure my son was still alive and i ended up having a major panick attack-is anyone else having any of these war dreams-they are horrible!!!I understand that it was just a dream but it was on a different level-like i actually thought i was there hours after i woke up-took me all day to get over it :( It made me think of the people who come back from war-they have horrible nightmares about being under attack-i wonder if can be treated as if i was in a war-technically i was in active duty for 2 years on Xbox Live..........

I had a Uncharted dream some time ago.

But I will not tell you about it. IT IS MY DREAM! MINE!

I had a Mass Effect 2 dream and it was like watching a blockbuster movie opening sequence. I'm talking serious effects, sweeping crane shots, inspirational music the works. It was all centred around my commander Shepherd giving a rousing speech to officers on some kind of tropical/jungly planet in a space port (standing on a sort of platform in front of the Normandy) when the shot cuts behind shepherd as he stops mid-sentence and sees this shape approaching through a high-long window with resolves into some kind of geth attack craft. *Insert explosive action sequence* I woke up when the craft rammed the building. It was vivid as memories of getting punched in the man region.

I had a nightmare and was seeing stuff from F.E.A.R. once.. but yeah, I'm just not into horror stuff. As for wargames, they never tend to stick in a bad way, since I never take them too seriously.

If you keep having these dreams try altering your experience of the game itself, play it in an other way, or play with friends. I do this all the time over Skype and it's good fun I can assure you. :)

No. Sitting on your couch playing a videogame is a bit different than fighting for your life in a far away country, seeing horrors that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Back in the 2 big W's... I was a ground trooper...

I parachuted in.... went by many names... was in many armies of different countries.. suppossedly killed many a time. I've killed millions.

There is no going back.

but then... They took me BACK they sent me to the future to this "Modern Era" where the killing is swifter, and loses all sense of fairness.

I'm scarred for life, there is no going back. All I can do is sit in a corner and whimper, while drinking my soberness away for all eternity.

[sup]I can never live life as I knew it again[/sup]

And then I woke up!

I once had a dream that I was a badass viking warrior engaged in single combat to the death with a formidable foe. It was so realistic that when I finally killed my opponent it was horrifying. Then I spent the rest of the dream stacking boxes in a warehouse. I have weird dreams.

My gaming nightmares...whenever I spend more than eight hours a day on a game I'll dream I am playing that game and be bitterly disappointed that all my dream levelling counted for nought the following morning. During these dreams I'll even half wake up, hands holding an invisible controller; and when I am awake enough to know I was dreaming, I'll check the colour of the console's light, just to make sure I was asleep.

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHA

This means you have a suggestible subconscious, I'd suggest one of your friends learns hypnotism, see a shrink, it's possible your subconscious was leaving you a message in a medium it thought you'd understand.

I recently had a nightmare based on the game F.E.A.R.

It started out weird, very weird in fact. My friend and I were at a shell station arming ourselves to the teeth in the latest weaponry (weird I know). THen after we are done arming ourselves we open a door to this huuuuuge factory. We, in turn, get ambushed by clone soldiers and are forced to fight our way out. That part was epic. But later when I was at someones house (couldn't tell who's it was, guess it was just a house created by my mind) I would just be doing normal things and that little girl Alma would make random appearances constantly. God I still remember during the dream when I was washing my face. I looked in the corner of the bathroom to see Alma staring at me and then when I looked back the skin on the front part of my face was liquified and crap. It was a very intense dream, much more stuff happened, like fire consuming the whole house and me seeing her shadow everywhere amongst the flames. I woke up sweating but it just made me want to continue playing F.E.A.R 2, which I beat that same day.
