Obviously the summer is nearly upon us, and for console gamers that means a lull in new releases for a few weeks. PC gamers have indie stuff to tie them over, but that's less of an option for console gamers, so what games are going to help you guys through the Doldrums?

DeathSpank looks cool, but I don't have 2 pennies to rub together, nevermind 15 bucks. After I'm done coasting on Transformers, it's probably back to Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection and Left4Dead for me.

Howabout you guys?

Sounds like a perfect time to go and scrounge for a bargain game to me.
Either that or finish the following.

Bioshock 1 (Again)
Bioshock 2 (Again)
Dragon Age: Origins (First time)
Skate 3 (Just skate and find nice spots)
Fallout 3 (13th play-trhough)
Oblivion (2nd time)
FF X (3rd time)
FF XIII (Hunt dem Marks!)
Viva Pinata (So...damn...addicting! Must increase play time)
Halo 3 (I have access to LIVE from the 30th July to 14th August so I'll be there a lot)
MW2 (Same as Halo 3)
Metro 2033 (Had for ages, haven't actually played it yet)
FF X-2 (Actually finish it, not give up half-way through)

I'd say I'm pretty covered for the lull.

Try Singularity. It's quite fun. Also, when you buy it you get a mail-in rebate-style thing, but instead of money back, you get a copy of [PROTOTYPE] for free. That game should get you through the summer.

I've been play Tales of Vesperia with my three other friends, it it's made us realize that we really need to do a Let's Play.

I've been taking summer collage classes and working at a pet shelter. And fighting a Super-Virus on my gaming computer...

So I haven't really been able to play many games except Crackdown 2, which is very fun...

Mass Effect 2
FFXIII
Fallout 3 Expansions
Alan Wake
Whatever Arcade Games catch my fancy.

Yeah, I'm sorted for the summer...

Save money, replay old games I never finished and go for 100% to feed my gamerscore whore side.

Damn you Ghostbusters... you shall be mine!

Wait a minute....How is the middle of July almost summer?

Also, I recommend Crackdown 2 (simple, stupid, but very fun) and Singularity (Like Bioshock had sex with Call of Duty 4. And it was awesome.)

Starcraft 2 is about to come out. That's all I can say for this summer...

Well, I'm on an internship in China working 10 hour days and exploring the country, so it isn't that boring.
As for games, I've just started Pokemon Yellow, and am waiting for Starcraft 2 to come out when I get back. Also, I like to play sports games, so I'll be picking up the upcoming Madden game.

I have money saved, and plenty of unplayed games to go rumaging through pre-owned sections for. I'm sorted. As for the time being, I've been playing left 4 dead alot, and I've still got a large part of assassins creed 2 to run through.

For those who were bothered by my inaccuracy - Yes its full on Summer, but the summer dip in new releases is only just hitting us. And yes, you could go outside and have BBQs and such, but those responses don't really belong in Gaming Discussion do they?

I like Sassafrasses- (Sassafrass's? Sassafrass'?) suggestion of bargain bin diving. Any cool gems I should be on the look out for? I know at my store you can get Assassin's Creed 2 for 20 bucks now, but that seems a bit steep for my current financial position.

I've been passing the time alternating between Super Street Fighter IV and Civilization: Revolution. I still need to finish Red Dead Redemption and Final Fantasy XIII, but I don't really have the drive to do so.

getting new desktop that can play modern games without huffing and puffing (and lagging to death) so there are quite a few old games that I've still got to play
