Just wondering what gift idea's you guys have for fellow gamers.
(Games, consoles, faceplates etc are the easy way out!)

I picked up a set of replica COG tags for a friend because they're a hardcore Gears of War fan. (Got them engraved on the back with their GamerTag to add a little personalization.)

I also had a spare Left 4 Dead hoodie that went down well.

Am considering a BioShock 2 Big Daddy Plushie but they're "pre-order only" at the moment.

So... what do you gift idea's do you guys have?

Thanks.

Slim Jims and videogames go together like fire and heat. (horrible simile) Then of course, there's money, which is always a safe bet.

You could get some FPS freek controller add-ons. They work pretty well from what i've heard.

Clothes make for the best gifts.

Jinx.com has a lot of stuff for PC gamers. I personally have a Gears of War Zune, Gears of War shirt, Zerg Rush T-shirt, Zelda Twilight Princess T-shirt, Assassin's Creed hat, Mass Effect N7 hat, and a couple Mario shirts.

You can never go wrong with accessories for the gamer's console/PC, either. Controllers/hard drives/coolers/wireless adapters/chargers/etc.
Then there's what this user said.

As people have said, clothes. I personally really want the DK style tie that Shanks has in Doomsday Arcade. I WILL NOT REST UNTIL IT IS MINE.

a trench coat
a black briefcase
sunglasses(the badass kind... secret agent... or aviators if they think they can pull it off)
Leather boots
An M1 gerand just for hte lawls
or just their favorite music album.

That's what I would want, anyway.

Beat bag chairs, really warm blankets, hot chcolate mix, and anything but ramen is good too.

You can never go wrong with things from Think Geek [http://www.thinkgeek.com]. They have a lot of gaming-related items and some not-gaming related items that are also pretty cool, like electronic bubble wrap [http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/japanfan/982f/] and a shirt that allows you to play background music at will [http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts-apparel/interactive/a5bf/].

Cool stuff, although I haven't really purchased anything from here. I just enjoy browsing and laughing at everything.

Give them their favorite music to go with their gaming. Try Rob Zombie's new album for metal heads and every gamer loves sugary snacks and energy drinks. Also try a good movie or perhaps an excellent book. Also, knives. I love knives.

Gaming shirts tend to be the biggest hit in my experience, followed by books about gaming and movies of similar genres to the games that they play (sci-fi=sci-fi, F/TPS=action, stealth games=spy/espionage, Whatever the f--k Heavy Rain counts as=Thrillers/Mysteries).

Gaming mice, accessories in general, or hardware. Posters are cheap and please people quite well.

Cool answers and idea's guys! Thanks!

I've bookmarked some of your links and just found a BioShock 2 light (+gift tin) on eBay that looks pretty cool!
