Give a backstory to the Courier from Fallout

That is it, name the Courier you use in game, and give Him/Her an interesting back story.

Mine is named Prof. April Hastings, an intelligent and slightly insane woman from post-Great War New York City, now known as the Manhattan Wasteland. Given the skyscrapers and vertical terrain, she is a natural born sniper, and a avid reader of medical and science books. So she is good for when you have a bullet in your shoulder or a locked terminal. She has also learned the mighty and now ancient ways of parkour and she can hop roofs like Ezio Auditore on steroids. After many years and saving the city twice from an evil government, she sets off for a new adventure by hitching a ride with a caravan heading for New Vegas, then takes up a job as a courier to make an honest pay and is then tasked to deliver a Platinum Poker Chip to the Strip, you know the rest.

my first thought, the lone wander escaping death and death again makes a living as courier, one day he gets a chip and a letter stating where and what to do. but in a fight to save his pipboy from an evil madman it broke and came off. so he travel through wasteland without his friends, and a terrible storm came and took most of his equipment. so as he kept trucking through tired, and in a hurry, he was well caught up and tied. Lost most of his memory the vault, but remember only a few city and only a few encounters, and only one name.
