Glasses or no glasses?

Sometimes I feel like people look better in glasses more often than I think they look better without them. Guys, girls, dogs, I think most people look better with them on.

Well...except for myself usually. I mean, I think I look okay, but I wouldn't wear them willingly when I have contacts instead.

Anyway, how do you feel about glasses? Whether your own, or how they look on other people.

I don't know how to explain it. I just find girls with glasses attractive and some guys with glasses slightly more approachable.

Glasses make everyone sexier.

I don't really like contacts, I'm not a fan of people putting anything in their eyes, especially because it loses the opportunity to make the person look nicer in my opinion.

I think glasses suit me a lot more than without them. Some people's faces just look a little bare without them, you know?

Like my mum, she's had glasses since before I could remember, and she just looks weird without them.

I wear contacts simply because my eyes are so bad if I wore glasses they would seriously be Coke bottles (for those of you who know a thing or two about eyes, my prescription level is -11). But I have been very tempted as of late to pick up some of those clear sunglasses that are in style just to see how I like it.

I've had glasses for years. It suits me rather well, I've heard. It's about finding a model that fits you and the personality you project. I look better with than without, I feel. I could use contact lenses, I suppose, but I'm a whimp when it comes to my eyes, and I just can't stick bits of plastic on them. Glasses are the most elegant solution.

There are far too few lassies who wear glasses, though. Chosen well, they will complement your look rather than diminish it.

Glasses. I'm terrible at putting anything in my eyes, so contacts aren't really an option for me. Most people agree I look better with them. It's important to choose frames that suit your face.

I wear contacts, they don't bother me and I really don't like looking through glasses and I think I look better without them, though your mileage may vary on that as when it comes to attraction I generally prefer people without glasses full-stop.

Hm, I think glasses tend to make you hotter or nicer looking at any rate.

Depends on the style, though.
And it's not really one of those things that first come to mind when I think of what an attractive woman looks like.

I wear glasses myself, although usually just at the university or when I need to see far. But I think I'll have to soon start wearing them all the time.

I wear glasses because the thought of sticking a contact in my eye is just horrible. Been wearing them since at least 5th grade and that was in 2000. I have thought of getting laser surgery though, just kind of expensive.

Depends on the person and the pair of glasses really. I think that generally people look pretty nice in them, but it's like hats. The hat has to fit the face shape and some people (like me) will just never look good or at least like the way they look in any hat.

Also screw you captcha, shove your electric cancer sticks.

Depends on the person and the style. Some people look way better in them, I used to think I did, but since my facial hair grew in I don't think I need em.

Seeing the rim of my glasses all the time is an annoyance too. Hope to get laser eye surgery soon as I can.

I've had bad eyes since grade school myself. For the longest time, I used glasses. In high school, I tried out contacts.

There IS a bit of an adjustment period, but it's not nearly as bad as you might think it is. After a week or two, you really get used to it. And believe me, I have VERY sensitive eyes.

The trick is to put a drop or two of contact solution in the contact before you put it in your eye. That way, there's no air bubble, and it just sucks right onto your eye with no hassle. You don't even have to put it directly onto your cornea, you can just look up and put it in your eye, and it'll naturally gravitate to the center of your eye. After wearing them for awhile, you'll forget you're even wearing them.

OT: Like I said, I've worn contacts in the past, but after I ripped my last pair, I've been sticking with glasses. Personally, I think I look better with glasses. My eyes are kinda sunken-in, and it always kinda looks like I have black eyes if I don't wear glasses.

I'm a newcomer to wearing goggles and I hate it.
my eyes aren't that bad, I just need them for driving and such.

Have you ever seen people wearing glasses with plastic lenses so they can look 'cool'?
why the hell would you do that? having crap eyesight is like a disability man!!

I've tried wearing contacts, and while it is a huge benefit to have your peripheral vision expand with such clarity, I'm a creature of comfort. Putting them in was no big hassle, but taking them out was a nightmare for me. I would've given myself an eye infection if I went on any longer. Glasses you can just put on in a mere second, and you can fall asleep with them without waking up and having your eyeballs feel like shit. I look better without them, but fuck it.

As for the glasses look... It can definitely work, but I find this only the case with girls who are already very pretty. I guess it's the idea of 'if they look this gorgeous with glasses...'

I kinda prefer contacts because they let me see better, but unfortunately my job is such a dusty and debris heavy environment odds are I'd wind up getting a scratched retina by the end of the day.

I should probably wear glasses. I dislike wearing them a lot though. This is mostly due to the fact that they have an annoying tendency of reflecting an image of my eye right back to me, as well as only covering a small portion of my field of vision, forcing me to turn my head rather than just move my eyes to look at things. So I find I prefer blurry vision at a distance over constant obstruction and accidentally forcing my eyes to refocus when I look outside of the tiny window I was provided with. I think I'll try requesting contacts next time I go to the opticians.

I wear glasses, and I don't want to wear contacts because the thought of shoving something onto my eyes don't sound very appealing to me.

I don't need them if I'm reading or on a computer, like right now. My prescription isn't very strong and hasn't much changed at all since I've worn them. I like the glasses I have since they're black frames and they're rather awesome on me. :p

It really depends on the glasses, tbh. I don't need them myself, but my sister's had bad eyes her whole life and both my parents are relying on their reading glasses for more and more things, so I've tried on a bunch of pairs over the years out of curosity. I look terrible in most, but occasionally there's been a pair that really suit me.

My sister has mostly worn contacts from the moment she was old enough, but I actually think she looks really good in her glasses. To be fair though, she does go to a lot of effort to pick out pairs that suit her and look stylish (unlike me, she's a bit of a fashionista). Oh, and my dad looks awesome in his gold-rimmed half moon specs, especially since he grew a proper bushy beard. He's old-fashioned like that.

I imagine there's a pair of glasses to suit everyone. Whether or not most people find theirs is a different matter.

I prefer contacts because they're comfortable, more or less hassle free, and provide a better field of vision than glasses do.

I also don't think I look that good in my glasses, but that might just be the specific frame I have. :/
