Ya know, I'm really not all that into the Eagles, but this is getting ridiculous. First Lemmy, then Bowie, and now another rock icon that create music that was really timeless.

Leave people alone 2016!

A requisite part of adult life for a lot of people is watching all their childhood icons die, though that doesn't mean you have to like it. The only thing that remains important when it happens is what comfort or lessons they passed on through their actions.

Thank you for the music, it was very enjoyable. I think I first heard a song by the Eagles when we were driving across the Golden Gate bridge to Vallejo, back when I can't remember. My cousin turned up the radio, and we rolled down the back windows and started drumming our fingers along the sill. It was a nice day, too.

Jeez, this month the Grim Reaper is hammering the music industry like a heavyweight boxer working a speed bag. :(
Let's be honest here, its a miracle that Bowie, Lemmy and Frey lived as long as they did. The amount of drink and/or drugs they consumed they should have been dead years ago.

No! Not the Eagles!

The other deaths were sad, but this is the first one that really made me upset. Guess its time to marathon Eagles music.

Eagles were a staple on the radio by the time I was born. While I'm not a huge fan, this is still one of those disheartening moments.

At least this one wasn't also cancer. We just lost like six celebrities in a matter of days to it. That was getting extra creepy.

Bowie had like fifteen heart attacks and multiple surgeries, so yeah.

Yeah, I had a sick feeling that it was cancer when I saw the headline, but thankfully (I guess...?) it wasn't. Plus, he was 67 years old, another number that raised an eyebrow from me.

But I agree, it's getting super duper creepy. D:

Mott the Hoople's drummer just died, too, due to Alzheimer's complications. Which is a bummer as well. Guess how old he was?

Please don't let it be 69 or 67.

And Billy Talent's drummer is taking time off to deal with a relapse of his Multiple Sclerosis. Might be younger than these guys, but right now any disease is a warning sign of an impending death.

Yeah, the main reason I mentioned it is because you said 67. And I'd forgotten that connection, but when you said it I was like, wait...wasn't Dale 67 too?
