Glitches in Red Dead...

Aside from normal issues like getting stuck in rocks etc (shooting my horse twice could have been my fault)...I have been having odd ones on red dead.
I just whistled for my horse and a man came running over. I thought I was mad so I tried again and he kept reappearing; it was even on my map.
I have just turned it off and on again and now my steed is horse shaped
Been having issues like that for ages. Anyone else had weird glitches?

I've had moments where I was sailing along the flat road while driving a stagecoach, only to fly about 14 feet upwards, land safely, and then proceed on my travels.

I suspected ET was hiding in the back.

No real glitches with the game, but my disc killed itself. Not sure how, but it's got a massive circle in about the middle of the disk, i had to get a mates copy and install it to my xboxs harddrive to continue playing.

When I was in Chuparosa a big wave of white appeared covering the town. I could only see half of john. Then I saw an armadillo but i was on a quest so didn't stop to hunt it. It started making cougar noises and killed me. My horse jumped over the entire Macfarlane ranch when I tried to jump a set of boxs and when I tried to start a barfight I punched one of the girls and she started floating about with her arms flailing round and round.

Thats about it though.

I had to restart the game when all the carriages and wagons start launching themselves in the air.

The funniest part about that is the people riding in the wagons and carriages seemed to know what was going to happen, because they all jumped ship and ran off right before their horse driven vehicles launched into the sky.

Im actually suprised to notice that the game doesnt have nearly as much clitches as everyone claims it to have. it might have something to do with the fact that im playing on the PS3. I have played about 26 hours or something and the only clitches that i have run into have been these:

My minimap disappeared after i think a bounty hunt. I had to restart the game, 'cause my bed wouldnt work.

I was thinking about this too. In my 30 hours so far, I've only experienced two bugs, one being that I couldn't use triangle input anymore. After restarting the game, that solved itself. The other was a character model that wouldn't unload after a mission and would remain standing in the barn where it walked after the cutscene.

Perhaps the PS3 version is more stable then the Xbox version?

There are some pretty amazing glitches in Red Dead. I've been launched into the air and fallen to my death several times, as well as having weird floating carriages which, when I touched them, when flying backwards and forwards across the map.

The only glitch (if you can call it that) I haven't had a good laugh at is the one in mutliplayer; every time I play a game, within 10 minutes I'm kicked to an infinite loading screen. It's not fun. R* have said they'll fix it this week however.

I was playing it online and raiding fort mercer. It was quite hardcore because not only was I bein shot by the bandits inside, but also 3 different people outside the fort who were shootin me in the back.

Anyway I got all the way to the back of fort mercer and about to take out the last of the mob when I go for cover and BAM.. straight up into the air, a very long way.. then I fell to my death. By the sounds of this thread, everything likes to do that. Luckily I didn't respawn too far away.

You should have rode him, might have been a laugh. (I just realized how that sounds)

On topic. The worst I had was half the screen and up was pitch black, so I restarted and it was fine.

Yes and normally i'd agree with you the problem is I didn't move my xbox, I never do. It's a shame really, as if I did move the xbox it must have by such a small amount it shouldn't have done a thing. The only time I really touch my xbox is to put the discs in/out.
