Glitches

Was just playing FF7 for old times sake when a weird glitch happened,

For all those out there that have played 7, i think we all remember the Gi boss in the cave under Cosmos Canyon, well, i just beat him, and i ran into a glich, i had to go though the whole boss battle again, not as if it dident happen, as in right after i spent 20 minutes beating him, i dont know how, but i beat him.

So, have anyone else ran into any weird glitches?

yes. in mass effect 2, i was walking and shooting enemies (forget which planet, i think the krogan testing grounds) and my character just started moving up, like into outer space up. and then he eventually got stuck in the troposphere. it didn't really screw my game up, but it still pissed me off.

It didn't help me when it happened.

In ME 1 on Eden Prime where you find the beacon Kaiden was invisible. Completely invisible. Looked hilarious as my character wrestled nothing

At least the game auto saves right?

I was just surfing around Cinnabar Island in the original Pokemon Blue, when all of a sudden, the famous MissingNo. glitch appears. Me, being really young and having not heard of this, thinking it was an all new Pokemon, catch it, and now I can't play my Blue cartridge anymore.

Thank god for Pokemon Yellow.

ya, that's why i didn't get boned too bad. i didn't have to replay any bosses or anything. it would have sucked if i spent 3 hours launching probes and that happened though!

Somthing like that happened to me in ff13, except i felle asleep and i had the 6 hour timer thing on...

Too many in Saints Row 2, usually funny, though n.n

One included just a day or two ago, it was a 2 vs. 2 Team Gangsta Brawl on the Lost Island. And I suddenly got sunk into the water...right under the island. I couldn't get out, I just swam and swam. Funny my partner beat them both without me, so it wasn't all bad....

The funnier one I had was when I was driving a car during single player, I drove off a ramp, and somehow landed on it's nose, and stuck there. It like, stayed there, wedged itself about four feet off the ground, and continued to rev up like it was driving still.

I've been playing Fallout 3.

I've encountered MANY glitches, stuff like the Enclave apearing too early, Charcter's not triggering events, graphical glitches, 3 Dog's going on about Project purity when i haven't even foud dad yet, Quest's completeing themselves.

I ran into a really weird glitch back in my GBC days. I was battling my friend via link cable and suddenly his Pokemon disappear and are replaced by weird, LV 0 pokemon who are switching out constantly. We cut the power and restarted. Thankfully, the files were safe and sound but it was certainly the weirdest GBC glitch I ever saw.

Doing a race in Saint's Row, only to have the texture models for a bridge load a bit too late; causing me to crash into the water and open my mouth in surprise.

um the only glitches i know of now are l4d2 rocket jump glitches....ah the possibilities.

Currently raging over a couple in Borderlands. I press "online" in the main menu and the game freezes. I cannot play online. Also I downloaded and installed DLC for it, which did not work. Seemed to dissapear after installation.

ARGH! Don't get me started on Borderlands. Dropping down onto a rock, only to have me fall through it and die.

Oh and Gamespy.

Reminds me when I lost my Blastoise in the link cable. He was too fat to get through; at least my 5 year old self thought that. I then traded through 4 other Pokemon to 'push him out'.

I miss being a naive child...

If I'm thinking of the right boss (Disk 1 Undead boss) just throw a Pheonix down on him.

In DA the first time I encountered Gaxkang he got stuck in the thin bit between two walls and couldn't attack, made him very easy.

I've encountered loads over the years, some useful others crashing the game a good hour from 1 save point and right in front of another.

Actually the best one was on Age of Empires, built like 50 archery ranges, got my population to 49 then built a chariot archer (as Assyria) in each taking my population to 99 in a 50 max population game, awesome old school times.

I think the glitchiest game I've ever played is the Godfather (Glitches as in shit that's real funny and/or frustrating. If I meant genuinely serious problems with the games design this post would be reduced to OBLIVION), some of these funny faults include a guy casually walking through a wall and floating at the same time or driving along a road, having my car stop because there's a big empty void where the road should be and when I get out I fall into oblivion.
