"God I'm old" moments

I'm still considered young by most of the population (I'm about to turn 26 if you were curious) but have been feeling old lately. I thought instead of complaining about kids being in my yard, I'd hop onto this new-fangled internet thing and see if others have their own old-feeling stories.

So a bit ago, I was playing tennis with a buddy of mine. We've played a set by now, so I'm warmed up and looking for a win as he just beat me. I go to pick up a tennis ball from the ground when I get a spike of pain in my back. I didn't seriously hurt my back, but I had to stop playing the game because I bent over and hurt myself...

So in tribute to my upcoming 26th birthday, does anyone else have a fun story about feeling old? Yes, you ancient 30 year old's can also participate as long as you don't complain about the music in here being too loud...

Living on my own and paying my own bills and stuff makes me feel old. Also feeling tired all the time.

Also, when I see kids in the school I was in only 5 years ago and think, "Little shits!"

I was riding the nostalgia train to Darkwing Duck and Animaniacs town when I found the intros on YouTube. I ended up looking for even older stuff, like He-Man and Ren and Stimpy (older relative to when I saw them, not when they were made, if that makes sense).

I'm only 23 but it feels weird to look back at the old me and the kinds of things I loved. On the whole though, I guess I haven't changed all that much. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Pretty much when my younger cousin was confused when I used the phrase "surfing the net". I had to explain what I mean by that (I said people say it) which he reply which people I was referring to. It hit me that I realise I'm old.

I'm 20 and I think kids are more foul mouthed, less disciplined and have worse taste in music than they did when I was in elementary school. Yup, I feel older than I should.

Anytime that my sister has her friends over (she's 5 years younger than me) and they talk about their first semester of college.

And I just realized that I am older than the SNES.
