God of War III Help

I need help with God of War III. I am having trouble moving in the game. When I hit the direction stick Kratos starts to move in the indicated direction, stops, starts again, ect. When this happened I thought maybe my controller was dying but all the other buttons worked just fine. Even the other direction stick used for evading worked find. Now I only just stated playing the game and I am wondering if possibly this is supposed to happen because the battle field you are on isn't exactly stable. Even still, this worries me. If anyone is having the same issue or knows what is going on please tell me.

Sounds like it must be your controller, i've had no such problems...

Have you tried playing any other games?

I never had that issue, sounds like you just have an issue with your console/controller. Try restarting it and plugging in your controller.

It could simply be your direction stick. Try and play another game with it and see if the same issue remains. I do not remember Kratos having troubles with moving.

I just got through playing God of War II from Collection with this controller. It was working perfectly fine then. I am using a Logitech wireless controller if that makes a difference.

No, I called Logectch and they said that they had heard some similar complaints but it isn't the controller. I also read on several other forums of people having similar problems.

I got a regular PS3 controller and the problem has seemed to sort it self out. We'll see if it lasts.
