Godzilla "Leaked" Trailer

Anyone catch the leaked (and subsequently scraped) trailer for the 2014 release? I kinda got the same warm-fuzzies I got when I saw the Pacific Rim trailer. And I loved Pacific Rim.

If you haven't, search tumblr for "#godzilla 2014". The "real" trailer has the Oppenheimer sound bite when talking about the atomic bomb.

Yeah, I got chills when I saw this. I've always loved Godzilla movies since I was a kid, and it just gave me that feeling again. Honestly, I feel like this one is going to go right. I just have a feeling.

Godzilla on Fox in the late mornings... or the "WB" channel before it was "WB". Along with Kung-Fu movies. Ah... before the bills and the responsibilities of adulthood.

The trailer itself makes the Roland Emmerich version look an out of date parallel universe crappy version of Zilla.

It makes me really optimistic. That said I a kind of disappointed that we have another monster right off the bat, not that I don't like big monster brawls, but I was hoping for a solo Godzilla run to start us off.

If it is successful enough to warrant a sequel(which I hope it does), Imagine it would be hard to do a solo godzilla film after already establishing other monsters. Still it looks like they seem to know what they are doing from a promotional perspective from posters to the teaser itself. I enjoyed Pacific Rim(though far too much was spoiled in the trailers), but I hope Godzilla will be a different type of movie.
