I wish one of the big Triple A publishers would put a new game on GoG at release to see how it sells, it'd be a gamble certainly but I would like to see how it would work out.

Personally I've rebought a few games on GoG that I've purchased elsewhere, a small contribution to getting the gaming industry to hopefully realise that most people will buy your game DRM free.

Five and six are Steam-locked; I don't think it's that they can't release them elsewhere, but that they won't. I agree that they should, though.

It comes down to the publishers and what games they are willing to sell with no DRM. That tends to be games that are 10+ years old that aren't likely to see any sort of remaster for the current gen consoles that would generate a lot of buzz around the game. Basically, publishers will only throw stuff on GOG that has run its course and isn't likely to pick up any significant sales, so it doesn't really matter anymore if there is a DRM free version out in the wild that's really easy to pirate.

So far the only AAA publisher that has put anything reasonably new on GOG is Deep Silver, an even then most of those titles have been out for at least a couple of years before getting a GOG release, the big exceptions being the remasters for the Darksiders and Metro series which I don't think had particularly long delays.

I'd say Bethesda still values their games from 2006 or newer enough that they don't want a DRM free release, especially with Skyrim getting a recent remaster. Probably the same deal with 2K and the recent Civilization entries, but it is odd that the first game is missing, unless that title is sitting in some sort of weird legal limbo that means 2K needs someone else's permission to allow it on GOG.

I just want a complete Elder Scrolls collection somewhere. Whole reason I got GoG was cause it had TES games from before Morrowind.

It's a shame more Triple A publishers aren't willing to take the chance on GoG. I know most people are just going to buy from Steam regardless of there being a DRM free option, but it would be interesting to see how it would affect the piracy scene.

You can add non Steam games to the client and they'll work within it just fine. I tend to do it for games where I want to take a lot of screenshots as the Steam client is quick and easy for that.

If its not part of Steam, whats the point? I already have it on GoG and I have Galaxy.

Well, those games were free. So you could have just downloaded them. GOG included them in the bundle, so it's more convenient to get everything at once. Also, I think they got the alternative version of Daggerfall (the free one was the floppy version, I believe). In reality, I don't really know what and even if there were differences between the two, but it's something I heard mentioned.
