Going out on a Date

I'm going out on a date tomorrow (which is a pretty rare thing for me) and she seems pretty keen. I've only met her once at a night club (yes I know it's a bad place to meet someone).

At this stage I told her we could go out for Coffee or something like that and keep it simple. But then again I have hardly any dating experience so I'm not really sure if this is the right move.

Ideas? Opinions? Thoughts? Advice? Thanks in advance.

Be natural. Behave like you would with a friend... Well, around a friend who isn't completely immature. Be generous but not too generous. Don't make the conversation awkward, ask questions about her, what she likes and what she does. For the love of god, don't talk about the weather. That makes you sound very dull indeed.

Sounds like a good place to start but I'd think about going somewhere else afterwards. Maybe after a long chat and seeing if you really click maybe check out a movie she's been looking forward to? Or if you are chatting for a long while and get the munchies, maybe go to dinner together? Have a few ideas ready before meeting up with her. Hope some of this helps.

Dating is not a one size fits all proposition. Getting the date is more than half the battle. Be natural, let the date flow, be yourself. Have something in mind for if things are going well (a walk in the park, something else to do besides sit in the coffee shop for hours...or maybe, hell, just sitting in the coffee shop for hours!) And be ready to bail if she turns out to be a psycho ***** from hell.

Be thy self. I usually dress like a hippie(blazingly colorful shirt+socks(rainbow colours)), so I know she's into me and not my jaw-dropping stunningly beautiful self (if she isn't, she'll flee instantly).
That is, however, only recommended if you the kind of random guy capable of doing random stuff like that, on occasions that generally demand a non-random attire.

As for actually helpful advice...pay up, and find common ground(interests).

Hrm... well she's Asian (I'm White), she likes Naruto and that Avatar kids series (as do I)... she is doing a Nursing course at a prestigious University. Hmm what else. Apparently she loves video games, that's always a plus right? I'm gleaming this from her Facebook page by the way, I sure as hell couldn't actually hear her in the night club. You could pretty much see my underpants, hilarious now that I think about it. After that point I met her and danced with her. I don't think she seemed to care or maybe she just didn't notice.

Seriously though, act natural and ask her questions. Be interested in what she says and only interject when it solidifies what she is saying. I would also treat her to dinner and go out for drinks. I usually plan a nice dinner and a second destination for dessert. Then, go to a classy bar where it's not too noisy and enjoy a few drinks.
