I'm not quite sure of what's new, but Hetalia is supposed to be quite good. Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt was hilarious.

"The world god only knows" if you haven't seen it yet, and if you have then the third season should be releasing in the next few months or so.

To be honest, I think this season is pretty weak. All I'm following is Mawaru Penguindrum from last season which is still ongoing, Bakuman 2, Working'!! and Boku wa tomodachi ga sukinai.

I've heard good things about Fate/Zero, and maybe I'm forgetting some other series, but that is pretty much it. (I don't understand the hype around Guilty Crown, it seems pretty generic to me)

Well out of this current season (you mean the newest several animes that were aired recently?), I am currently watching Persona 4: The animation and Gundam AGE.
I never played Persona 4 but I heard it's good so I figure I watch the anime version to get to know it better while I'm a fan of all things Gundam.

Fate/zero, Persona 4 are my choice for the new releases, also just started watching one called Ben-To it's a bit weird but pretty good.

It seems a cop-out to recommend a remake, but the new Hunter X Hunter anime is tight shonen adventure, that streamlines the storylines and has a stronger colour palette than the old stuff.

So.. yeah. I recommend that

I will give the animes I am watching this series:

Persona 4 - I loved the game and I am currently enjoying the anime
Kimi to Boku - I found the first episode a tad boring I but I enjoyed later episodes
Mirai Nikki - I loved the manga, and enjoying the anime currently (smae sort of thing as Persona 4 now I think about it)
Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon - I like the setting of the anime and the main character is awesome.
Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai - Hilarious series
Bakuman S2 - Amazing series, my favourite anime this season by far!

I registered to say this, Fate/Stay and Persona are looking very promising so far. Also Mirai Nikki if you like Yanderes.

When I saw a new Last Exile season was being released I was exited as anything, watched the first episode and THEY FUCKING RUINED IT. Everything I liked about the original series was ruined, leaving me mad as hell.
I'm the kind of person who enjoys shows along the lines of Ergo Proxy and the such, so making Last Exile all UGUUU and shit was not to my liking.

Everything else unfortunately also looked like complete bollocks.

Fate/Zero, Persona 4, and Guilty Crown in general are looking to be the major Type A players.

Boku wa Tomodachi if you're into that kind of thing.

Soul Eater. It is funny, action packed, and the characters are all varying with lots of color. Plus a sublime plot. I recommend it wholeheartedly. Plus here are some kick ass AMVs for it.

And for Halloween since it is coming up:

That's not really this season, or the last season, or the even the one before that, but okay.

Go ahead and laugh. Laugh I get from that anime will be louder.

If you want something serious check Hanasaku Iroha.

100% The New Last Exile (Fam, The Silver Wing) need to watch the new Last Exile!
Fate/Zero is supposed to be good but I never saw the original series.
My friend said I should watch Guilty Crown but I haven't checked it out yet, I will.

Because I'm a soppy git, I'm watching Tamayura. C3 seems OK, just another magical-girl wacky harem comedy with more of a 'not-human-girl' twist to it. I'm otherwise just collecting series (ones I'll definitely watch though are Persona, Last Exile, Haganai, Working'!! and Bakuman 2).
