Hi all,

I just got the clan a Wii with the usual party games included with Wii Sports and Wii Play. While my kids are having a blast with these and I have enjoyed the sports a bit - I'm looking for a recomendation on something the "big kids" would like to play.

I like almost all gaming genre, so that is not important.

What is key is something that uses the Wii controls in an interesting way and has some more depth than what I own now.

Fire away with comments about anything you played and found fun that you think I should try.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Try Super Mario Galaxy. I haven't played it but it won game of the year from pretty much every reviewing site.

Mario Party 8 for the Wii is weak. They took out a lot of the chaotic elements that made the earlier version fun.

Warioware: Smooth Moves is a must own.

Super mario galaxy, it just fantasitc just try it.

Rayman raving rabbids is tons of fun, the first one has more games, but the second on has a better FPS game but i'd sugget getting the first one first of course.

Resident evil 4 is the best version you can get of this great game :3

Sonic and the secret rings, that a fun game. At first might seem slow but once you play it and sonic levels up it get a lot faster which is great fun.
I'd also say trama center and metroid where good fun too.

I've not played them yet but are on my 'must have are' Mariokart wii and smash bros brawl

Being a picky game player, I've narrowed the best Wii games (for me) in order of awesomeness to:

1...Resident Evil 4 (incredible atmosphere and level design)
2...Super Mario Galaxy (101/120 stars so far)
3...Geometry Wars: Galaxies (just plain addictive fun)
4...Zelda, Twilight Princess (deep story, great puzzles)
5...Metroid, Prime Corruption (silky smooth shooter, baffling puzzles)

Of course Kart and Smash Bros will probably be in there, but I don't have them yet.

- Twilight Princess. Definitely uses the Wii controls very well. I'm left-handed and it still felt natural.

- No More Heroes. Insanely violent, but if you can overlook that, it's great.

- Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, if you're into the strategy genre.

- Super Paper Mario. A little short, but good.

- Super Mario Galaxy. There's a reason so many people have said it.

- Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Incredibly fun. Easily the best fighting game I've ever played.

Anyway, those are my 2 cents.
