Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help me out by listing a few laptops that are under $1000, but are good for both gaming and university related work, because my current laptop is pretty close to crapping itself D:

Honestly, just go with one for gaming if you don't mind lugging it around. Unless you require a specific program, most students really only need to run a word processor and a web browser, and nothing else. The problem with gaming laptops is that they're expensive, and heavy. Most people get sick of carrying regular sized around within a month. (I have a netbook and I adore it, not to mention I get to explore older games I've missed)
