I recently have come into a good amount of money and i wanted to buy a new music game for entertainment at parties and for myself as well. I am very interested in DJ Hero but i really dont know enough about it to invest all that money and i really loved guitar hero. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

From experience I can say that setting up two cheap turntables, a crossfader and a bunch of old vinyl for anybody to use beats the hell out of DJ Hero in terms of entertaining people at parties.

As far as games though, I dunno, maybe "rock band" but the thing is all that stuff looks really plasticy to me and would get destroyed by drunk revellers.

If you are talking about console games then DJ Hero would be the next best game NOT using a guitar.

If you are talking about PC Games then Beat Hazzard, AudioSurf, and Rhythm Zone are all good titles that can be purchased on Steam for less than $9.99

Hope this helps.

If you're talking about the first rock band, the only part that really broke was the foot pedal on the drums. The one from RB2 is a lot stronger than the first one. I've moved a drum kit around the world(CA to Japan to ME to FL), they're damn near unbreakable.

This thread's kinda old now, but the reviews for Rock Band 2& 3 were really good; so that's probably your best bet.
