I'm in the market for quality youtubers, preferrably focusing on the PC since that's all I own.

Not looking for anything that focuses exclusively on one game, especially if it's Minecraft or WoW or LoL or anything.

Not exactly looking for Let's Plays either. I'd rather play the game myself, only rarely will I watch a game, usually when it's a type of game that can be play many different ways.

For reference I'm following FrankieonPCin1080p, initially for his excellent DayZ stuff but now for everything, Robbaz for his sandbox gameplay fun, TotalBiscuit more so for news and opinion and his WTF is... series, and Yahtzee because obviously.

Any suggestions?

Hmmm...well the Game Grumps have their Steam Train show which focuses primarily on PC games.

Not sure if that really applies to what you're looking for though.

GamersDissent, OfficialNerdCubed and OfficialStuffPlus. (who is not affiliated officialnerdcubed) All of them play the game but condense it for your viewing pleasure. They play most of the triple A games and a staggering lot of the indie games coming out like spacebase df9 and banished. The first two play the game but jump cut a lot to the most pertinent and interesting stuff while making jokes inbetween, they don't play the whole game its just to give us a taste. While the last guy plays it straight up, if you enjoy prison architect check him out for a taste of what his vids are like, although he does preview vids where the format of those vids resembles GD and ONC. If I knew how to link vids I would but its the best I can do. Mabey links are enough?

Official Nerd Cubed, you may not like a bus simulator game but watch to see what his humor is like, it gets good trust me

GamersDissent this vid is a part in a series of games but his subtle humor sold me to his other vids, he doesn't do many lets plays, the majority of his vids are one round sessions. Exactly what your looking for.

OfficialStuffPlus admittedly hes not too funny but he really gets at the heart of some of these games. Insightful.

Subscribe to these three people and I can guarantee they will sell you to a game you wouldn't have thought fun otherwise. I hated prison architect and rimworld its like one is copying the other and ftl may be popular but its a boring 2d game to me. Im a pc gamer but I can tell when an obvious fad is obvious. Oh minecraft is successful lets steam early access a clone and make money!!! Its not till I found these three fine youtubers that I found just how unique a lot of these indie games really are. If you sub to all three and check out their vids your gonna get a boat load of good info on a lot of games you never even knew existed. It helps their vids are mostly 15mins long so they don't overstay their welcome.

Crate and Crowbar is a /very/ new presence on youtube, but after watching their Dark Souls series, they have excellent production quality. They have some good banter too :)

Elder-geek.com is one of my favorite review people to go to and he also does regular vlogs and gameplay stuff and is PC focused.

Unit Lost is also pretty cool. They're two wacky british people that play mostly PC games that I find entertaining more often than not. They also have a pretty cool discussion show called Hotfix that deals with current news and trends in gaming.

Totalbiscuit is one of the best but you already know about him :D

If you like the Jimquisition here then Jim Sterling also has a youtube channel where he does first impressions of PC games (mostly the shitty games that somehow get themselves onto steam) and it's good for some laughs :)

I'll second Nerdcubed and I'll also recommend NorthernLion [http://www.youtube.com/user/Northernlion].

Whilst he does do LPs of games, he also does other content including Let's Look At, which is similar to TB's WTF is series, although has less detail about PC settings and the like.

Outside of YouTube as well, he always streams the "Northernlion Live Super Show" with JSmithOTI and RockLeeSmile on Twitch [http://www.twitch.tv/northernlion] every Monday, Wednesday and Thrusday (circumstances permitting - for example there was none last week because he was at GDC). Basically, it's 3 hours of him and his two co-hosts (and occasionally others as well, like Mike Bithell) playing a variety of games ranging from Spelunky to Family Feud.

I'm a big fan of the channels that complain a lot. About publisher/developer bullshit, bad gameplay and how to improve it, and so on. But it's the intelligent ones that get me, not the angry to be angry ones like AVGN.

Gaming Anarchist http://www.youtube.com/user/gaminganarchist (Mainly spotlights industry bullshit, misbehaving publishers, and such. He's a lot like Jim Sterling.)
MrBtongue http://www.youtube.com/user/MrBtongue (deep game analysis and griping about some popular franchises)
Errant Signal http://www.youtube.com/user/Campster (deep game analysis and griping about some popular franchises)

I shouldn't have to link to TotalBiscuit, Angry Joe, Jim Sterling and Yahtzee Croshaw...

I also view the occasional silliness over at Rooster Teeth's achievement hunter community and game fails, as well as popular gaming news sites like polaris, machinima, and zoomin tv games.

There's STAR_ and Jerma985. Both of them are PC gamers who churn out entertaining (and occasionally inspiring) videos on a fairly regular basis. They started with mostly TF2 footage and topics, but they've since branched out to other titles as well.

They're also friends, and they sometimes team up for their videos (with hilarious results):

Quoting to throw my support behind it.

Nerdcubed is a consistently entertaining individual.
I highly recommend him and, oddly, his dad too.

Dadcubed can be quite amusing on occasion too.

Well obviously pewdiepie and I found a new channel PainApple by teen which plays Dead Space that's quiet cool as well

I'm personally quite fond of Markiplier.

He falls on the same spectrum as PewDiePie for content, with scare cam and goofing around, but at the same time he does come across as a very likable individual.
