Thanks for the responses so far. I do have a question for all of you though: will I still be able to enjoy MSG4 even if I haven't played the previous MSG games?
TBH I'd say not really.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is a sequel purely designed for the fans of the previous Solid games. It ties up all the lose ends of the past games' storylines and most of its own storyline is just basically references to the past storylines.

It's purely fan service (goooood fan service). I strongly urge you to play the 1st 3 MGS games before playing this if you intend to fully enjoy it.

What's with everyone trying to pass games that are only slightly different on the PS3 as exclusives? Just because a tiny bit changes between platforms DOES NOT mean it's an exclusive. And also, if you don't like a game, don't list it as a good PS3 exlusive. I know it's hard to come up with good PS3 exclusives, but come on.
What? Have you even read this thread? It's been practically nothing but exclusives. Which games are you referencing?
I would be happy to explain. Someone earlier said that UT3 was a good PS3 exclusive because you don't have to pay for PSN and it has mods. Someone also said that Batman: Arkham Asylum was a good PS3 exclusive because it has a small bonus mission where you play as the Joker. Both of these are on the 360.

Several people have said some games are good PS3 exclusives that they said they didn't even like. To me, that makes no sense because the title of this thread is "Good PS3-only games", not "PS3-only games that some people like but I don't".

LittleBigPlanet, Metal Gear Solid 4, inFamous, and I've heard Killzone 2 is good though haven't played it myself. Those games should keep you busy for a while.

Actually, as far as I know UT3 is exclusive to PS3 if you don't count PC for some odd reason, and it even has mods with that.

With Arkham Asylum, those people are referencing the Joker packs as exclusive, not the game itself.

It sounded extremely pompous of you when I read "I know it's hard to come up with good PS3 exclusives, but come on" because this entire thread, regardless of your nit picks here and there, completely disproved that and seemed to come off to me as a tiny bit of trolling in a thread meant to find PS3 exclusives.

Actually UT3 is out on PC, 360 and PS3. Perhaps a bit of research would have helped there.

As for Batman, I still argue that a small bonus shouldn't count as an exclusive. One is not going to purchase a PS3 just so they can play as the Joker.

As for the last comment, I said that because this thread was over as soon as someone said "Metal Gear Solid 4, Little Big Planet, Killzone 2". But people kept going, trying to find small loopholes like the games I mentioned in my initial argument.

I had no idea your taste in games was the benchmark. I suppose we shouldn't even talk in this thread anymore if any other games don't have your seal of approval.

Also, if the PS3 has a multiplat game, but has an exclusive feature, why wouldn't someone bring that up? It's like not mentioning the GTA IV DLC the 360 gets, that would definitely be a factor in choosing one version over the other.

I definetly understand what you're saying, but you have to understand how small this Joker content is. I guess the GTA IV DLC could be a factor, because that is a large DLC. A pretty big deal was made over that thing. The Joker? Not so much.

I wasn't trying to offend anyone with that comment earlier. I just got kind of frustrated because it was an uneven argument. People were bringing up mediocre games and games that were on the 360 and PC as well. When I think of a console exclusive, I think of Gears of War or Little Big Planet. Not small things like mods in UT3. I do like the unique games on the PS3 like the formerly mentioned Flower. That's an exclusive. Not the Joker mission in Batman (which could be terrible for all we know.)

I don't think I'd ever consider mods a small thing since I'm always looking for mods in my games and they drastically change the game for me, but that is particularly for PC, I haven't even played UT3 on a console yet.

Though of course Batman AA's Joker thing is just a small little easter egg or something and I agree that it's nothing to fuss about, but I do think things like GTA IV or Fallout 3's DLC, and a mod community on the PS3 (though, since that's also on PC maybe the only thing special about that, is the fact that a console has access to mods and not that it's on the PS3) should be mentioned. Heck while we're at it, the one extra time trial map mirror's edge gets on PS3 isn't that great either.

Metal Gear Solid 4,
I personally see that software as a film, rather then a game.

Or rather a good interactive film.
Indeed, unless you like Metal Gear Online

Edit: Durr Assassins Creed is multiplat -.-

Wow... Lot's of posts...

Yes, my avatar is indeed DJ Pie Safety. ^^

And I mentioned it briefly before, but my internet connection is indeed only temporary this slow. My wireless network is fucking with me with server resets every couple of minutes and shit like that. It'll be over soon, but we have to make a connection to the modem first, which is on a completely different floor.

Thirdly, wow. I'm starting to really think that buying the console is worth it. Too bad I only have 400 something euros, else I would've bought a whole cart full of games...

Well, as far as I can tell you've got nothing to lose, except money, but that's money being "spent" anyway. You could also try the PC route if cost is the concern since there's lots of bargain parts and if you only have like, a few things to change that could work out, if you pretty much have to start from scratch though then that could cost an extra 100.
Oh, a PC is no problem, really. I'm going to university next year, and my parents will pay for half a laptop as a graduation present. And since I'm going to earn roughly 350 euros as a mailboy this summer, I'm going to get a pretty nice laptop.

I say get one but also keep your 360 and try to rent more games for it instead. Disc scratching is serious business, you could install games on the 360 but multiple consoles are usually convenient, cuz of those pesky exclusives.
I agree with you here as well. Multiple consoles = good.

Anyway, thanks for all the replies, people. I have a pretty big list of games now. Hell, these are only the exclusives! If I get myself a better tv somewhere in the future, I could even just start buying the other games as well because it looks better.

EDIT:

Pies out!

Okay then.....could you explain why it was a snore fest? I'll admit, I havn't used the level creator as much as I should have, but the single player itself was, I felt, fantastic.
