Good soccer game for PC?

Hey, so I recently got the urge to play soccer on PC, but since I rarely ever play those kinds of games, I'm sort of at a loss for what series I should try. I tried some Fifa game a long time ago but it was a horrible PC port, I assume they tend to prioritize consoles.

I know the main competitors are PES and Fifa, but even if I choose one of those, which version should I go for? Thanks =P

This probably isnt helpful but from my limited experience with football games such as Fifa and Pro evo the most fun I have had with serious type soccer games is probably Sensible Soccer on the Amiga which was quite a while ago as you would expect.

I think the series is on GOG now anyway but as for which iteration is the best I have no idea I didnt play it much as I loathe football/soccer gotta admit though unlike Fifa or PES I did get some fun out of it. If you need graphics though you will have to look elsewhere.
