Im a member of a news(gaming)site, yesterday they wrote about gameinformer which gave thier opinion on wich 30 characters who had defined the last 10 years of gaming... now Escapist i ask you.. wich characters would you say have been the most defining the last 10 years that didnt make it on the picture, and can you name them all

but us on the gaming news site(the forum) couldnt just let it slip we had to name every one of those on the picture. I took the time filling out the names as they got writtin down on the forum, now this is the picture with all the names on and wich franchise they belong to. Below all the chars has been named

Totally agree, i could name at least 10ish.

And i have to agree i cannot think of any others maybe a big daddy or little sister granted they arnt characters but they are the hallmarks of that series, thats it off the top of my head

Loghain is an odd pick from Dragon Age though. Would have gone with Morrigan or Alistair myself.

That's a very, very cool picture. It's now on my desktop wallpaper slideshow. Unfortunately I don't recognise most of them.

Minor nitpick: It should be G-man, not Alyx, simply because the former was the most interesting thing about Half-Life 2 while the latter wasn't. Though in hindsight I'm not sure the universe could handle G-man and The Illusive Man being in the same pic without the universe freezing solid from the coolness.

I didn't view the cake as a character and the Braid character looked too different for me to click it althought the hourglass was there in the picture's defence. Ryan was in the dark :/
Tommy Vercetti also looks too different.

I could only identify 9, but I've been away from single player/console gaming for quite a while.

The most obvious absence that occurs to me would be either Illidan or the Lich King. Love it or hate it it's impossible to deny the influence WoW has had on gaming in the last decade.

yeah.. the last 6 years WoW has defined how most MMO's have turned out.. whether you like it or not and been a major stepping stone for new MMO's
