When it comes to gameplay...

And no one will notice...0o

From what I've seen in BC2 it has a way more interested MP where you can destroy buildings and ride motorcycles while firing your weapon.

From all the hype I saw in MW2, I'm not seeing much from BC2....what's the deal here?

With comments like that, it will end in flames.

I don't know about that, seems like a lot of ppl on these forums mostly agree MW2 got way much more hype than needed.

I wasn't that impressed from MW2 MP.

BC2 looks better.

I've always preferred Bad Company to Modern Warfare. Primarily because you can get rid of those pesky low walls and sandbags MWers insta-prone behind.

two different types of games. Funny, me and my friends all have both these games, and we were back to Bad company just yesterday. Will i get BC 2? Probably. Wil i still play MW2? also probably. I do agree though, the battlefields are made for multiplayer.

Please, let's not start this again.

I thought all this talk about BC2 and MW2 and which will be better ended in Novemeber.

As for MW2 revieving more hype then BC2, it's most likely due to the fact that Modern Warfare was a much more widely played game when compared to Bad Company. Both games were great, but there are still thousands of players playing Modern Warfare 1 right now.

MW2 is a really good game well made...but BC2 obviously looks way better and more fun.

It's really seeming the fun factor doesn't matter anymore, it's all about hype even when a better game is presented.

And it's not like I'm bringing up MW2 vs Shattered Horizon, BC2 is more of a mainstream game that should get mainstream popularity...so where's the hype??

People will still stick to a game that's more popular because it's popular, even though they would enjoy playing another game much more...0o

Quite honestly, I don't care, because I'm not buying the game. And making random judgments based on a game that hasn't been released yet is nothing more then pure speculation, which holds no ground towards Call of Duty's hundreds of thousands to millions of people playing it at one point every day. While it's partly due to popularity, it's also due to Call of Duty's varied gameplay types, and enjoyable matches.

Really? Because the entire first sentence is subjective. I didn't like Battle Field: Bad Company, but I liked Call of Duty 4. Does that mean I'm wrong? No, it means I disagree with you, which isn't the same. Saying the fun factor doesn't matter when millions of people have fun playing a game that you don't like, quite frankly, is close minded, and a little stupid.

I think they each have their strengths, I love both online, but MW single player more so.

For instance the sniping on BF is better for map size...

I really just bought MW2 to tide me over until BC2. I was psyched for BC2 over MW2 ever since E-3. If BC2 had actually come out earlier than MW2, I probably wouldn't get MW2.

Bad Company 1 sucked all around, IMO. This one at least looks a little better, but if it's as clunky and annoying/has as bad a singleplayer as the first, I'll be selling it within 3 days.

I know I'm going to sound somewhat desperate here, but...

Why can't fans of one game be fans of another? Both these games may seem similar, but it looks like both of them offer gameplay features that the other doesn't. Not everything has to be compared to something else and I think that this is one of those situations where both will be good and fun, or it will be up to the player's opinion over which is better.

This is just a silly topic. There is no way something that is not an absolute juggernaut AT LEAST on the level of Gears of War, will possibly take the place of Modern Warfare 2. It could end up being better, but it will not beat it in popularity. Not by a long shot.

Even if MW2 is more popular, BC2 will still have a large enough fanbase. BC1 has plenty of players online and that wasn't hyped much.

I look forward to BC2, so I can play an online shooter that doesn't keep crashing.

Kind of appropriate for a thread about multiplayer shooters...

It certainly looks more interesting, as long as it can bring a degree of organisation and purpose to the chaos like Enemy Territory did, it's such a shame the community of that game degenerated into abusive pre teens.

bring back the old avatar. or else I'll send cliff racers after you.

OT: Well, I like Battlefield BC 1 better than CoD4. Shame none of my friends did.
