Picture this, you say to your friend, "Hey, I want to beat this video game this weekend". Now, say its a Sunday afternoon. Do you think your friend is saying it as "this current weekend" or "this upcoming weekend"? If you think s/he is talking about this upcoming weekend...imagine s/he said the original statement on a Friday night / Saturday morning. Am i the only one who becomes confused by this situation?

If we're still in "this weekend", then I assume we're talking about the weekend that's happening right now.

The first letter of each sentence should be capitalized. First letter of all major words in a title should also be capitalized. Closing punctuation needs to be present within the closing quotation (or parenthesis if applicable.)

I've always deemed the phrase "This weekend," to refer to the current (should it be stated prior to Sunday 11:59:99 p.m.) or upcoming weekend for any other case.
