Well it still coming out in JP, EU in November so I doubt its that. Maybe some translation errors or something.

Someone on kotaku said the sony japan site said there was a delay as well.

All in all, I want to care but it's just a big "meh". It'll come out eventually, or I'll buy another 360 and pick up Forza 4.

Maybe they're trying to make a few more cockpits for "some" of the cars.

Gran Turismo has got to be the biggest waste of physics, cars and tracks ever to feature in a "game".
why are you saying "Game" you trying to say its not a game..?

Saw this thread and thought this could be a thread written any time n the last three or four years and just been resurrected, says it all really.

Still looks like it will be out before Duke Nukem Forever.

From Kotaku:

"Update: SCEA tells Kotaku that the delay is indeed global adding that they can't elaborate on whether "holiday season" could mean early 2011. When asked for specifics about the cause of the delay they only said that "Polyphony is optimizing ever aspect to provide the best racing experience.""

really, wtf? i'm starting to think there is no GT5, and they're just trolling us for attention. I'm pretty sure ppl dont give a damn if the race tracks turns are 3inchs off the real one, or that 994th car no1 will buy left side mirror does reflect the lighting properly.

To be honest, Forza 3 set the bar pretty damn high. GT just HAS to be better. It's expected to be better. I have a feeling a lot of people are going to be disappointed this Christmas :). I will probably rent it just to get my actual car, if it's in the game, and drive it around on a track.

It's racing game. No genre other than RPG can produce a game worth this kind of wait.
