Great games you just couldn't finish

What is the best game you played that for some reason you just couldn't finish. Whether the game was too hard, too glitchy or just too long.

For me it was Metal Gear Solid. I got stuck fighting a boss at the very end and, being the inexperienced gamer I was, I gave up on it.

Planescape: Torment. Saves corrupted twice, around the same point 10 hours in.

I was loving it, but there's no way I'm playing through it a third time just to have it bug out again.
