Great Pokémon Battles you've had

I just put together a team in Y, and fancied testing it out online, 3V3. After winning a few battles and losing one, I came across a person who most certainly knew what they were doing.

The battle started, I sent out a Tyranitar, they went for Arcanine. Going for a quick KO, I went for stone edge. However, they swapped out for a Furfrou, which just ate the attack for breakfast, due to it's ability which halves physical damage. Knowing that it completely walled my tyranitar, I went out to Ferrothorn, with themselves going for the ineffective toxic. The next turn, Ferrothorn went for leech seed after they'd swapped back out to Arcanine. Being well aware of the Pokémon I had, they went for the close combat the next turn. However, I swapped to the beast that is my Choice Banded Azumarill, shrugging off the fighting type attack. Next, I predicted the switch to the Furfrou, and bam, Superpower right to the face. They were down a Pokémon. Just as it was looking up they sent out a Medicham. Fearing the worse, out came Ferrothorn as death fodder, and my fears were confirmed when it mega evolved and duly took me out with Hi-jump Kick. It was looking bad at this point. Next up was my Tyranitar. The next attack was not a kick, but a Crunch. My Tyranitar was Choice Scarfed, so it managed get the Medicham into the red with the sandstorm raging before it was taken down much like Ferrothorn. But out came the Blue Beast, Azumarill to save the day with its massive attack and Aqua Jet. First up, the mega Medicham. Out of nowhere, its dying blow, bullet punch, as my Azumarill fell to just 60 HP. With these battle scars, Azumarill battled on, and KOed it, leaving only the Arcanine left. One Aqua Jet and I'd have won, but it was not to be as Azumarill was to be evaporated by yet another priority move, extrmemespeed, and instead, after all that, I lost.

A battle of so many ups and downs; it will go down as a very memorable battle where unlike the other loss today, I wasn't defeated by just stupid bad luck. I could have used pursuit at the very start, but to be honest, while I might have potentially won if that happened, I don't have any bad feelings over it. Very well done and thanks to the person who I battled against, even though you did use a mega evolution. :p

So, do you have any memorable Pokémon battles from the past?

The most memorable battles for me are with good sports. This [http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/unratedrandombattle-54470542] is one of my most memorable battles. Start at turn 20. The hacks are obscene, but it was a loss worth seeing out to the end.
Still, though, I haven't had much luck with battles beyond weird hickups like that. I usually use battles more as a way to feel out my team, or enjoy the luck of the draw in random battles. I'm not much of a competitive sport, really.

Those hacks were absolutely ridiculous. I think I'm unlucky when I get critted twice in a row, but that paralysis.
Good sports are always nice. Basically just being challenged by the actual player rather than any one particular Pokémon which just so happens to destroy your team at that moment is where the satisfaction and difficulty comes from.

Most memorable battle I had was against a friend of mine. We sat in the garden and battled like gentlemen. I don't remember much of the main battle now, except that my line-up included Gengar and Typhlosion, and his included Jynx and (I seem to remember) Electrode. His Jynx really caught me off-guard, because I didn't realise how powerful it would be.

In the end, he had taken out all but the Typhlosion, and had only lost two of his own-- but two fell to one-hit-KO's without managing to put much of a scratch on my last champion. Then, out came the Electrode.

He self-destructed. Typhlosion survived with some tiny number of hit points left. Then Typhlosion melted that last 'mon, which was that Jynx, who had so obliterated most of my team early in the battle.

I was victorious, but it was clear that I owed it to one single pokemon. I had spent way too much time relying on just one or two pokemon. I resolved to be far more even in my training from then on. My team's pretty even now, including Tyranitar, Gengar, Mamoswine and a few others.

For me it actually has to be one battle I had in Pokemon White. I was going against a friend who does nothing but EV and IV train his Pokemon, while I just catch them and level them up. Well he had a team consisting of Charizard, Haxorus, Seismitoad, Dragonite, Gyarados, and a Serperior all at level 100.

My team consisted of Swampert (my first one all the way from Ruby), Delcatty (also from Ruby), Porygon Z, Chandelure, Typhlosion (was from Pokemon Colosseum), and my Samurott.

Well I was down to my last Pokemon and the only one I had damaged was his Dragonite, and so I sent out my last Pokemon, Chandelure. Well he thought he'd get the upper hand and sent out his Seismitoad which knew both Earthquake and Surf. Well it turned out that somehow my Chandelure was faster and I got an Energy Ball off on him, killing his Seismitoad in one hit. Next he sent out his Gyarados and I was still faster so I one hit it. After that he sent out his Haxorus and I used Shadow Ball on him, and that killed his Haxorus (my Chandelure has a good special attack). Then he sent out his Serperior, a quick Inferno took care of it (Game Gods were kind enough for it to actually go off). Finally I got to his last Pokemon, somehow I managed to turn the entire match around in one fell swoop. Sadly though, his Charizard was stronger and faster than me so I lost. Still kept the footage and it's on my White cartridge. Only thing is that I have no way of actually recording it. T^T

One of my first in Diamond. I beat a guy who was using Ubers, I had none.

Was down to Empoleon vs. Regigigas, it was epic when I won.
