Well im new here and apearantly theres a user review forum,where i can review anything i want no matter how new or old. So heres my review of GTAs DLC, The Lost and Damned . . .
STORY
The story is by no means as great as the actual gta 4 story but its still good.In fact its pretty good.Its well executed and the voice acting is good.It also runs parrelel to gta 4s story so you see Niko in it.Im trying not to give away any spoilers so ill end with that.
GAMEPLAY
Its the standerd old gta fun,3-d gtas anyway.In some missions you have to follow the formation of your fellow bikers wich is for some reasone very fun.Then in some missions you race your biker pals to the objective for no reasone.If you win this meaningless race you get nothing exept the fact that your better then everyone.The missions range from breaking people out of jail or going to jail,raceing,shooting random things.The two funnist missions in my oppinion were breaking into Alderny State Correctional Facility to kill someone,and shooting things of the back of a motercycle in a giant police chase.The police chase was fun because for once in the game,i wasint driveing and they reminded me of those types of missions in passed gtas that are rail sthooterish.There was some other awesome and interesting missions but i just wanted to point those out.
You can also do other things.Such as have gang wars,free roam(obviosly),arm wrestle(unbelievabley hard)play play air hockey with a freand(in the game) and all the stuff that was in the actual gta 4.Wich include,watching tv,drunk driveing,play darts and pool,go off unique stunt jumps,(if you really have the time) find and shoot 200 pigeons(in TLAD,its 50 seagulls) and many other things.
GRAPHICS
Awesome graphics but no graphical update.Theres a filter in the game that I like alot but if you dont you can turn it of in options.Overall their the same as the original game.
EXTRA CONTENT
You can finish the story in 10 to 12 hours.New features include shooting a sawed of shotgun out of a motercycle,new activiies,54 new songs on the radio,2 new tv stations and a new episode to a show called "Republican Space Rangers", and the ability to (while raceing)hit peaple with a baseball bat while on the motercycle.
Theres more multiplayer modes such as witness protection,lone wolf biker,chopper v.s. chopper,own the city and a new type of race.All of them are very fun.
New weapons are the sawed off shotgun,combat shotgun,pipe bomb,gernade launcher,automattic 9mm pistol and a pool cue.
There is also over 20 new veichles,and new bike physics so your not falling off it everytime you use one.
CONCLUSION
Overall,its the best downloadable content so far.12 hours long (20 if you want 100% completion)with lots of new weapons veichles and everything else.Top that off with new multiplayer modes and its just amazing.They could have sold this as an actual game if they wanted to,well maybe.Definatly worth 1600 ms points($20).Even most actual retail games dont last that long and there $60.So definatly worth it.
