An "estimate" would usually imply a reasonably accurate guess. Whereas a "guess" has no such connotation. "Guesstimate" is sort of a half-way thing.

OT: Although I do sometimes use the occasional "dude" "Hey" "Yo", most slang words bug the crap out of me. Also, when people say "a whole nother". WHAT THE FUCK IS A "NOTHER"?

Actually, it WAS true, you couldn't just get to it, therefore, everyone that has said it, past, present or future, are the biggest hypocrites ever. Take comfort in knowing that your not a hypocrit when it comes to that sentence.

Probably any texting word, I don't mind some like LoL *The abreviation to League of Legends, AND THATS ALL I CAN STAND!* But now texts are so convoluted, its annoying.

Guestimate... I hate that.

Not as much as the word "several" though. It doesn't mean seven of something, just any amount of things over 4 or so. Single, couple, few, bunch... several. IT'S PRATICALLY THE WORD SEVEN... I hate it.

Quadrilogy. This word drives me insane with fury. So much so I have dedicated my life to hunting down the 'clever bastard' in the Fox marketing department who invented it and torturing them to death.

It doesn't even make any grammatical sense!

Pretty much all management-speak: "touch base", "leverage" used as a verb, "best practice", "going forward", "think outside the box" etc.
Also basic grammar mistakes, like "your" when you mean "you're" and similar. That makes me want to punch people through the internet.
