Guild Wars 2 "World vs World" looks so Epic! [Gameplay]

I can't imagine anyone who enjoys MMORPG PvP, or simply enjoys the prospect of killing your fellow player in a glorious fashion, who can't see themselves playing Guild Wars 2's World vs World in the not so distant future. Especially after seeing all the gameplay that came out of the recent beta.




It simply looks amazing, with a great deal of potential for some endless fun.

WvW is supposed to suffer from balance problems. Beta had issues because everybody ended up being on one server, so essentially every other server got swarmed. Apparently, when it goes live, similarly ranked servers will be pitted against each other. But there is no limiting factor on players- if a server decides to get the max server capacity (500 people) on each map (2000 total, max server capacity for) and dominate it for the full 2 weeks, there is nothing stopping them aside from the other 2 servers also getting buttloads of people onto their side and launching a massive assault.

Gw2 looks simply amazing in almost every detail.

I have heard whispers of some balance problems and PVe dynamic events being hard to find at times, but the rest has been overwhelmingly positive.

Lets see if it brings back the punishing chaotic PvP WoW had back in the day. I hope so.

Unfortunately, no one knows what the fuck DAoC is so I have to put it in simpler terms.

Nah, Trials of Atlantis fucking killed it, but original DAoC is still the Holy Grail for PvP MMO gameplay. If DAoC's PvP was a five star restaurant, WoW would be Chucky Cheese. Fun in its way, but after about 10 minutes you've got a headache and want to go home.

How awesome would it be if they rereleased the original game with better graphics and some of the more annoying stuff fixed? You know, nothing that affects the core game, but you know what I mean.

I would buy the game and a life time subscription the day they announce it.

It would be SO awesome, contingent on what "annoying stuff" was fixed. My hope is that GW2 and/or TSW with their faction vs faction vs faction will be worthy successors.
