DamndamndamndamnDAMN! [https://twitter.com/tvsmatthackney/status/592177537427447808] I mean, I was expecting it. A lot of people were expecting it, what with the end of good relationships between Kojima and Konami, but hearing confirmed from the mouth of one of the people involved is just... That final nail in the coffin, you know?

Ha, I figured. We're not allowed to have nice things, especially if they're Silent Hill related. I don't see why Del Toro can't stay involved, but oh well. It's, like, fate, of something. Good thing I didn't let my hopes get up.

I'm not bitter. Nope.

Well, that's one more case of a video-game company cancelling/never working on a game practically everyone wants, just another day in the topsy-turvy world of the game industry.

Is the one that had Norman Reedus as the main character or something like that? Pity, looked like one that could've been nifty.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

WHYYYY can't I have nice things?? Norman Reedus AND Guillermo Del Toro on my favourite series of all time and fuckin' DRAMA AT KONAMI has to go RUIN it! I didn't even get to play the PT demo and they're taking it down in a few days! This BLOWS

UGH, I'm so upset. Like... the equivalent to what the fangirls felt when MCR disbanded upset. Like I could PROBABLY just go sit in the corner and slice my wrists, wishing I'd never been born-- [sub]Okay maybe not THAT bad[/sub] BUT still pretty bad.

I'm not that big of a fan of the Silent Hill series, myself, but I love Guillermo del Toro. And Norman Reedus is one great actor. Seeing this die is a stab to the heart. :'(

I can't imagine anyone is shocked about this but it still really really really really really really *breath....really really sucks.

Metal Gear deals with a lot more horror things than you would think and Kojima brings a ton of experience with making those kind of cinematic games. Del Toro is much more experienced with horror and creatures but he hasn't done anything with video games (to my knowledge). Del Toro's skill and talents combined with Kojima's experience would have made an epic Silent Hill game.

Though maybe it is for the best; can you imagine what life would be like never being able to fall asleep due to the extreme fear caused by that game!?!

I wasn't excited for Silent Hills, but it sucks to see the series remain in management Hell when it's recovered so well in terms of the actual games.

If you have a Playstation Store account you can get P.T. now even if you don't have a PS4. Just go to the browser version of the PS Store and 'buy' P.T. and it'll be in your library to download whenever you get a PS4.

Wow, I didn't even know there was a browser version of the PS store. That's super helpful, thanks!

Now I get to play P.T. someday AND I no longer have to use the PS3 store app which crashes every 20 seconds!

Well, if it makes you feel better, in an alternate universe the game never got cancelled, and your enjoying it RIGHT NOW.

Whatever, the series has been lackluster for awhile and I doubt Kojima and del Toro could do anything. I don't know what's going on between Konami and Kojima right now, but that relationship is quickly disintegrating.

This is such petty bullshit, why can't Namco give Kojima internet access, or Kojima just get over it.
Come on man and they had to delete PT? Really?

EDIT

I blame Kojima's departure on this. That fucking hack had to ruin the one good thing we had coming, didn't he.
