No, you're never the only one. But seriously, that's great news. I really want to know what up after the walk away at the end of 2. It's great time to be a comic book guy(other than new 52, but hopefully they'll retcon that with a new crisis soon).

That's awesome. The second movie was hellishly good fun, even if it did undo parts from the first, and seeing more of the otherworldly stuff will be a blast.

This I like. I loves me a good demonic butt-kicking action movie.

Speaking as someone who really really liked both Hellboy movies...

YES YES YES!!!

I'll be more excited once we get some official confirmation that it's actually in production or get a trailer or something, but I still consider this a step in the right direction.

Although Hellboy 2 wasn't close to being as good as the first, it was still awesome. I'd love to see a third, even if it was just to gawp at awesome looking stuff.

Seek it out, it's really good. It's quite different to the first one, but there a lot of weird, awesome, fun stuff in it that makes it a brilliant watch.

This guy doesn't like it so much. Go figure!

OT: I would love to see this happen. Hellboy is awesome, so more Hellboy would be more awesome. The world needs more awesome.

I didn't think the stories of the Hellboy films were any good, but the acting, special effects and awesome action scenes and characters totally make up for it. I'd easily watch another.

Fuck yes this is good news. I loved the first two films, own them, so I can't wait for the third. But what about Selma Blair, Doug Jones and of course Jeffery Tambor? Hellboy, being the main character, is obviously important but I feel that it wouldn't be a Hellboy film without the suppourting characters that have been with him the entire journey.

The second one has Johann Krauss, the German Ghost!

The second one has Johann Krauss, the German Ghost!
The first one has Kroenen, the clockwork undead Nazi assassin.

..And Ivan Klimatovich, half of an undead Russian.

Say hello Ivan!

I saw articles saying it wouldnt happen so this is good.
Glad toros off his "Im too busy with other stuff" kick to finish the series.
I think he wanted to do mountains of madness but cmon nobody really cares about that...Hellboy!
though pacific rim is lookin coooooll...but I need closure on this series.
I think he also want to do a frankenstein, hes ambitious and I love that but finish hellboy.

I'll have you know that I would kill to see Del Toro's At the Mountains of Madness.

On topic, I am very excited to see the next installment in one of my favourite film series.

Dammit Del Toro, just make a Mountains of Madness movie already!!!

I don't care if you have to dig up H.P. Lovecraft's corpse and use his sharpened bones to threaten a movie executive into giving you the funding.

On a calmer note, this is great news. The second movie was a bit odd at times, but that doesn't mean they weren't both a hell of a lot of fun. Can't wait.

Then watch prometheus for the time being its basically the same. Toros would be way better but I wants hellboy.
