i know how you feel about tenchu. every game review ive ever read has crucified the game but falling two stories onto a random guard and nailing his head to the ground while his blood sprays out like his veins have been attached to a can of compressed air never gets old.thefourwings said:Tenchu Z: I know it's far from perfect, but god help me I love dressing up my ninja and slaughtering the unsuspecting.
Sims 1&2: Mostly just embarrassed at the total number of hours they've eaten up. Sooo addictive until it's suddenly dead to you.
Sounds like I should avoid it.DoctorNick said:This topic seems familiar...
But anyway, I've been playing an embarrassingly large amount of Two Worlds [http://www.amazon.com/Two-Worlds-microsoft-xbox-360/dp/B000NJH6YG/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1238139656&sr=8-1] lately. It's a shoddily made and somewhat generic fantasy kill-fest that I SHOULD hate with a passion, yet it has the right combination of game play elements and lack of certain crippling flaws (*cough*Oblivion*cough*) to make it the equivalent of crack to me.
Thank you! Speaking of undue crucification: just played Wheelman. It's not perfect, but IGN stamped it w/ a 4.8 which is completely undeserving. It's similar to Saint's Row in that it's in dire need of some polish, but you let it slide because it's just such mindless fun. Fits right in there with guilty pleasure: ridiculously over-the-top, but so satisfying every time you propel yourself from one vehicle onto the next and swing-kick the driver out the window.c0ld3r said:i know how you feel about tenchu. every game review ive ever read has crucified the game but falling two stories onto a random guard and nailing his head to the ground while his blood sprays out like his veins have been attached to a can of compressed air never gets old.
Oh God. Me too.xmetatr0nx said:the infinitely frustrating block breaker game on my black berry....ugh
It's really hard for me to say to anyone if this game is worth purchasing or not. By most any way I can gauge it it's not that great of a game, yet I keep enjoying the hell out of it. The difficulty is in deciding whether my experience is just a fluke or if there's actually a chance there's real campy entertainment value here that other RPG players might find enjoyment in.insectoid said:Sounds like I should avoid it.DoctorNick said:This topic seems familiar...
