I really enjoy watching The O.C.

I have many pleasures, but I don't consider any of them to be 'guilty'...

In fact, the whole concept of 'guilty pleasures' puzzles me. The way I see it, you either like something or you don't, simple as that.

I know the Transformers films aren't very good. I know that Michael Bay's a terrible director. I know Megan Fox is over-rated.

And yet I enjoy watching the flicks.

I cry when people do heroic crap on television. Be it real (i.e. news) or fake (i.e. in some tv show). No I do not mean "heroes" being heroic. I mean when a character does something selfless and badass. I sniffle.

I do get a certain sense of satisfaction when a troll (typically joobnook) starts an angry anti Halo rant and I retaliate with logic that puts him in his place, I like being able to convey an image of a well spoken sophisticated Halo fan. I feel guilty though because sometimes I can get carried away with my retaliations, for which I genuinely feel bad about.

Also my other guilty pleasures are that I have a massive crush on Ellen Page. I'm also pretty sure I am in fact a masochist given that often when I accidentally hurt myself or get painfully humiliated I find myself constantly incidentally putting myself in the same situations. Finally I still go to screenings of kids movies, but only Tim Burton or Pixar films.
