Rock Band is getting three new games this year. Unplugged, Beatles, and Lego. Both series' are being milked too death.azadiscool said:Wow, evidently Guitar Hero is the new Tony Hawk. Watch as a new one comes out with no new gameplay mechanics once every three months for the next four years. Makes me glad I jumped ship to Rock Band.
That was #4. Rock the 80s was a expansion pack of sorts, same with the Aerosmith type games.Blanks said:i thought world tour was 5
Unplugged is on a new console, the Beatles deserve a game (more so than Metallica and Van Halen) and Rock Band seems up to the challenge (not to mention the Rock Band logo is just for sales), and Lego Rock Band... well, I don't really know about that. Yeah screw Lego Rock Band, that is really fucked up.Gamer137 said:Rock Band is getting three new games this year. Unplugged, Beatles, and Lego. Please tell me, what new gameplay mechanics would you like? It's a fucking music game, buddy. They added new mechanics. They did that whole slider bar thing. That's a new mechanic. The sequels have new songs and nothing more. That's all that they need.azadiscool said:Wow, evidently Guitar Hero is the new Tony Hawk. They`ve released the setlist for 5?? ir are you talking about greatest hits?popdafoo said:People speak of how Guitar Hero isn't doing anything innovative. Really? You want innovation? You're playing a music game, and when they did try to do stuff to the game, people complained. People, listen. It's a music game. The point of it is to play songs. There's really nothing more than that, my friends. Also I saw the artist list for GH5 and was extremely happy.

Actually, Neversoft's schtick is to throw in pointless add-ons, which they've given us in spades in both Tony Hawk (get off the board, BMX, Focus mode) and Guitar Hero (song creator, vocals and drums, slider). Seriously, the game is GUITAR hero. Let Rock Band do its own thing while you just cater to the guitar enthusiasts.azadiscool said:Wow, evidently Guitar Hero is the new Tony Hawk. This man speaks the truth.MikeTheElf said:Honestly, I stopped enjoying Guitar Hero when GH3 came out. As for Rock Band, the only purpose another sequel would fulfill is to augment the song library for a cheap cost.
The amazing songs they missed out like call of kuthulu ,the four horsemen, ride the lightening ,....and justice for all ,escape, trapped under ice, leper messiah and a few othersCajt said:/care.
I've got Guitar Hero: Metallica, what more could I possibly need?
