Post some of of the habits you have developed while playing videogames.
mine:
reloading after every kill
trading the handgun for another weapon the first chance i get
tossing all my grenades into the air, hoping for a kill, within the 1st 5 seconds of respawning
jumping around and spamming the fire button/melee when i get hit by a flashbang

Reloading very often.
Also in FPS games, I like to throw grenades in the middle of a friendly NPC group and laugh.
Jumping alot in RPG's, if possible.

I have no habits .. except breathing and stuff. But I am trying to develop one where the moment I see someone close by I press melee (I want it for MW2 online, becasue whenever someone comes around a corner near me I keep forgetting and get stabbed for my troubles).

Reloading after every kill.

Keeping steady sight and burst firing in front of me after being flashed.

Apparently my eyes dart around like crazy if I'm playing on a big screen.

My right hand forefinger twitches everytime someone surprises me.

I do weird, wonderful, hilarious and disturbing things with my tongue.

I swear a lot (not unusual, but its a habit nonetheless)

Putting my feet up.
Reloading after every kill.
Abruptly jolting forward every time I knife on MD1+2.
Saying "Go to hell" or "God Dammit" when I get killed in a ridiculous way.
And I'm told that I don't blink.

I have a rather odd habit while playing platforming games, in that I jank the controller upward ever time I jump, often resulting in the console taking a leap down from wherever the poor thing is placed at the moment.

I also talk to myself while playing... a lot.

The quicksave reflex is my main one - before and after every conversation, fight, turning a corner...

I usually don't run the game again for a few days if it crashes on me.

I always choose the "good" options in moral choices, sometimes I even set out to play an immoral bastard for a change, but I end up being a good boy scout all the same.

In some old RTS games, I would sometimes demolish the enemy early on, but leave one or two of his units/buildings intact and develop my base like crazy, just for the fun of it.

Another habit from my old RTS days - turtling out. I was the quintessential turtle, building massive defenses and then using either airstrikes or quick raids by fast units to destroy critical structures while minimizing losses, and then steamroll over whatever was left.

Oh, and in RPGs, I always play as a male.

hmmm...habbits... besides getting to emotionally involved and easily stressed.

Erm, i love re-playing levels until i get perfect or at least near perfect scores. I also love weapons that shoot duel bullets and enjoy killing anything that moves.

Hmmm... i have a few, some of mine are:
  • Talking to myself while playing.
Reloading after each and every kill.
Pressing all buttons other than the ones in the middle all the time.
They are mine in games, now if you want a list of all of my other bad habits, make sure you have an hour or so of spare time. Good ol Chronic Tick Syndrome, fun times.

In most FPS games- I use the crappiest weapon all the time. If there is a melee weapon, then I use it for everything, unless I can see ammo for another weapon within reach. (I just think to myself that infinite ammo is infinitely more than "a lot" of ammo) I save up my ammo and don't use it, no matter how much I can carry. I just think I'll need it later, but I rarely come to a situation where I use it.

Like a few people have said, always choosing the good choices when given the option.

Also, I quicksave before turning pretty much every corner if possible.

Oh, and also, depending on the load times, I eat a snack when I die or finish a level. I reckon I should stop that one, or else I might get fat. :)

I tend to move my mouse so my character acts like he/she is shaking or nodding their head in response to the NPCs.
