It is just me, or has anyone else unconsciously picked up habits from video games?

For example, I'm a long time Starcraft player. I just recently noticed that some of my responses/acknowledgements are from Starcraft (in particular the Dark Templar's "So be it." and "Very well.").

I've also noticed that I've started to flex my left hand the same way Altair does when readying his stiletto.

And after having recently played Mirror's Edge, I find my self looking at stairways, pipes and narrow alleys.

Not sure if it's from any one specific game, but I'm a hell of a lot more paranoid than I used to be.

Years of gaming and PnP RPG's have taught me that if you're not paranoid...You're dead.

I have a nasty habit of checking my corners now... everywhere...

Captain Price, you taught me well in those five seconds.

I'm a police officer, and shout "STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM!" at people before I chase them down and arrest them.

Nah...I wish...

Anything specific? Like watching the windows and grassy knoll for hidden snipers? Or wondering if, sitting in your seat right now at work/school/etc., some sniper is looking at you through a scope? Going prone when approaching a corner? Or if a team of soldiers is sneaking up on you with Ninja and Cold Blooded for a hilarious Kill-Cam?

Yeah, that's another thing I do. I always approach a corner/door slowly now, like I do in the MW2.

I often say, "You're *Insert action here* has been observed by forces unknown" from Oblivion.

Anyway, not really. I move my hand into the awkward and gnarled way of the progonist in Bioshock with the plasmids...

I alos want to kick everyone's ass as soon as I put on a button down dress shirt(but that has muc mroe to do with James Bond)

Sometimes I quote the annoyed Russian Flak Trooper from Red Alert 2.

"*sigh* I am going..."
"This [insert object] is heavy!"

I also say "Follow" and "Wait" like the main character from Fable.

Hum the theme song of my most recently played game whenever I start to think about games. Which is often. Very often.
That and I keep looking down expecting that my feet are not there, or are horribly rendered.

I sometimes mistake Wiimotes for guns. [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/98944-Child-Must-Have-Thought-a-Gun-Was-a-Wii-Remote-Mother-Says]

Yeah, Assassin's Creed II is so immersive you can't help but do this. I personally find myself looking longingly at bell-towers and steeples- not for architectural value, but for footholds...

I tend to use a lot of catchphrases from games. Lately I've been saying 'schweinhunds' a lot XD Also, I say 'sandvich'. Mum understands what I mean, but she still thinks I'm crazy.

Similarly, when I'm drawing on a piece of paper with a pen or pencil as oppose to Photoshop, I will instinctively look for Ctrl+Z when I make a mistake. It's kinda embarrassing when I realise I'm not using Photoshop XD

More along the lines of not trusting anyone even after I've determined their motives. Althougb I do carry a swiss army knife with me if I have to go out at night.

Yeah, me too. It doesn't help that airplanes tend to fly near my school...
