It looks like they took your same generic squadmates from Halo 3:ODST and made them into Spartans. Also, the UNSC now uses Vertibirds.

It looks amazing. I really love how the Spartans looked.

Am I the only one who found it odd that 2 of them were wearing bright blue armor? I thought Spartan armor was only green and tan.

I don't think so really. They just lifted it from the book. You see, officially none of the Spartans died. They just went M.I.A. It was a way to heighten the morale during the war. No good having people knowing that the super soldiers who are supposed to win the war are dying, right?

I think this looks pretty neat. Hard to tell if the actual story will have a bigger impact on the game this time. Would love it to have more story. It is there, in the books, so why not put it into the games? If they did, maybe all the Halo haters will see that there is actually a pretty good background to all of it.

Also glad that the made this prequel instead of making a Halo 4 or something.

The game is placed before the events of the Halo Trilogy.

So he would still be alive. He wouldn't be famous however.

The Chief was at the battle of reach, he just wasn't on the planet itself. He may make a brief appearance, but i wouldn't bet on it.

Also, how does the guy who has PAINTED OVER HIS VISOR see? Not that I'm complaining, because it's bad ass.

Actually from the look of the E.V.A. guy who was playing with his knife I was thinking more like Halo of Two or Army of Halo.

In all honesty, I was not impressed at all by this trailer. I know Bungie has the nasty habit of not showing any gameplay what so ever in their first trailers, but as a gamer who honestly doesn't give an eff about pretty shiny cinematic graphics, it lacked wow factor of any sort. It was a sneak peek at a narrative that I don't care about at all. Basically, its just kind of shallow and absolutely nothing of interest happens... actually nothing happens, but "different strokes" I suppose.

Rubbish. They said the same after Halo 3 and then we get three more games. If Reach makes enough money there will be another Halo game
