I've always enjoyed Halo regardless of people hating it for what it apparently started. Seeing as how they just added a lot of things to Reach I'll assume that it will be just as enjoyable.

I will admit to being a huge Halo 1 and 2 fan, but 3 really upset me, especially the online modes. I liked ODST because it changed the game enough to be fun again. I am finishing the Fall of Reach book, and am getting excited for this.

Doom 3 and expansion? Still, perhaps there isn't much FPS that involves space marines, but if you leave out that specific to qualify the subgenre of shooters, the number rapidly increases. If you don't define a genre at all, the number increases even more drastically... I can understand why people are tired of space marine games at times .

That said, I'm not quite sure what to think of this game yet. No Halo games have really caught my attention so far, I found them rather bland, but what I've seen so far seems at least moderately interesting.

Yes I am very excited for Halo The Fall of Reach as they seem to be basically given a console game full mod tools. I am very curious to see how the pans out. I am also looking forward to a couple of other things that they are adding as well.
